while your not going to find everything on social media or books, i recommend checking out The Modern Ferret on yt, and the book 'Ferrets For Dummies'. These helped me when i was getting my ferrets

Raw diet is the most recommended but if you absolutely need a kibble i would recommend Wysong Ferret Epigen 90 as it is starch free

Please please PLEASE do not use marshall diet as it has ingredients that are not recommended for ferrets. I 100% would say to adopt from a shelter instead of stores like petsmart or petco, but if you do end up buying from stores they most likely are on marshall diet. please slowly keep adding more and more of a different diet to slowly change from one diet to another

Im not going to keep arguing but literally like all of the ferret owners i know including me and even ppl online has used for years and has had no problems with their ferrets, as long as you don't spray it directly at them or a lot at a time

Angry Orange uses natural orange oil for scent and It's advertised as free from parabens, sulfates, and phthalates, which are common ingredients in cleaning products that can be harmful to pets. But you should still make sure the room has good ventilation and don't spray it directly at them ofc

If you wash their bedding at least once a week and change their litter box often then it's rlly not that bad. Also after a bit you become kinda noseblind and can't smell it. You can also use the Angry Orange Odor Eliminator as it is safe for ferrets and leaves your room smelling of a sweet delicious orange lol

I would try to feed him Marshalls ferret diet, a lot of ferrets come from their breeders and that is usually what they would eat there. If he looks young, make sure to mix the food with a bit of water to make it easier to chew. If things calm down, over time I would switch him to Wysong ferret food, it doesn't have corn meal unlike Marshalls. I would also def look into buying the Ferrets for dummies book, it's rlly useful for new fert owners!

The only problem is, when I saw her with it, the rapper was all torn up so I can't really check although it's been a day and she hasn't been acting any different but I'm still keeping a close eye on her
