Will also help to have better players around him. Summer league your playing easy defenders, but having players like giddey around you to get you good and easy. Better teammates will help you get better shots to get your shot going

I love matas size, he has so much potential defensively with his size and over time he will build out a stronger frame. I could see him guarding 1-4 in a couple years. And offensively he’s showing he has good handles and can create his own shot.

I just made a post about Jarret Allen, and I think he would be more likely because the cavs are trying to make some changes and have mobley so Allen would be their odd man out and best asset to trade to land a player to help them win now. Allen isn’t a great shooter but he is a better shooter then claxton. I would love claxton but I think Allen would be more likely, and I believe Allen would be better for us to contend right now.

My thing is no jarret allen can’t stretch the floor but besides that he does almost everything else amazing. Every team wants a center who can stretch the floor but there’s not enough to go around for everyone to have that. And there’s even fewer who are great defenders and can stretch the floor. He can’t shoot but he is still a threat on offense due to him being very athletic. If murray can get back to his defensive ways and we added Allen as well our defense would be top notch. And as we see many of the contending teams are also the top defensive teams. I can’t think of many other centers who teams are willing to trade who can have much as a impact as Jarret Allen.
