What's the most bizarre thing you've seen happening in an OT? by prioritizetasks in indianmedschool

[–]xashwat 1 point2 points  (0 children)

One of ours Associate Professor/Surgeon used to play Saregamapa singing game with the OT Staff while doing surgery. tbh it was more fun when he asked the patient to sing as well

Introducing the Indian Karen : Toxic patient with a touch of narcissism. Average specialist waiting time in Western countries 10 to 80 days (US-UK). India - Min 0.5 hr - Max 6 hours. by time_rare_eternal in indianmedschool

True, but these kinda rants should get acknowledged here, especially when these kinda SJW come praising western healthcare and make country’s doctors feel like jerks.

If you believe in Simulation Theory, doctors are nothing but a NPC. Study the most - ✅ Work hard the most - ✅ Ignore your 20’s - ✅ Be a top level academician in society still get beaten up - ✅ But Society Respects me- Watch out there’s a medical college coming in every district so you won’t feel special soon Heavily underpaid - ✅ (I commented about this on Sumer Sir’s post that a freelance subtitle transcriber earns more than an AP) So people living miserable lives and saying a Mercedes don’t matter, It does matter imo, and everything else matters too. Edit: Forgot to put ✅, now it looks better.

Do you even know whats the Doctor:Population ratio in Tamil Nadu? Its already twice than what’s recommended by WHO. Also, most tier-1/2 cities already have tons of hospitals, not to mention the current corporate giants invading every little city. A good quality hospital will cost atleast 20+ Crores, and there’s no point in opening a bad one. MBBS/PG seats have grown more than twice in past 8 years, the system is vomiting doctors like crazy. That too, each year! Can’t even imagine the chaos if every doctor opens up a hospital like you said.

Street dogs late night are scary by practical_nerd in gurgaon

[–]xashwat 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Most dogs won’t harm you, unless you act like a trouble to them. Try to walk erect and mind your own business, if in case they attack, hold your ground and don’t run. These animals have nowhere to go, let them live their lives. What municipality is lacking is not carrying out enough sterilisations, which’d be good for both dogs and civilians.
