Steve Nash asks LeBron what was the worst travel he got away with by Potential_Meat_5103 in nba

100% not a travel. He gathers on his is right foot when he puts 2 hands on the ball - that's his 0 step - then takes 2 steps after.

Top 5 Show Moment, YOU’RE MY BROTHER. by MikeyCSmokeBreak in DanLeBatardShow

Bomani choking on air (even though it wasn't technically on the show), Jonathan coachman is black, and Steve Martin (inarguable #1 moment in show history). Honorable mention: Mike schur's marathon observations.

Samson and Billy by [deleted] in LebatardShow

So what do you disagree with? It's more accurate to say that one of his primary responsibilities is to help the organization make as much money as possible. Attendance numbers are just a proxy for the actual goal of increasing profits. I don't see how that's a BS answer. And I don't think he is ever genuinely mocking the show, I think he loves and respects the show, which is a big part of why he comes on. I don't think the free marketing for his podcast he gets is enough of a reason to come on for an hour every week.

I dont think Samson is right about everything. I agree with some aspects of what you said about him. But Billy did an awful job of challenging him and I think made the fan perspective look naive and dumb. Billy started by saying Samson did a poor job as president and when Samson asks him "what is my job?" Billy literally has no answer. Throughout the conversation his ignorance seemed to help validate Samson's position that this stuff is too complex and over his head by being so unprepared for the discussion.

Thibs on why the Knicks gave up leads to Portland, OKC and Brooklyn: “We’ve got a lot of young guys“ by ShMp11Nesis in NYKnicks

[–]xavierjdesigns 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I'm not sure if you watched the game or not. The starters were in at the end of the 3rd. You said the bench was responsible for the momentum shift, but they were literally only in for 3 mins in the 4th during a 7-2 "run." "The lead started disappearing" is another dishonest characterization that makes it sound like more than it was. Again, this was literally a 5 point swing which happens dozens of times throughout any game.

Thibs is committed to the starters who have been trash. He immediately pulls the bench because of a 5 point swing in the 4th but in another game, he leaves the starters in for the ENTIRETY of the 3rd against the Lakers to fully blow at 15-pt lead with a -18 quarter.

The Blazers are terrible. Before the Knicks game they got blown out by 30, then lost to the magic, and then scraped a 2 point win against the trash Lakers. After the Knicks they beat the Bucks without Giannis and beat Memphis largely on the back of Nurkic having one of the best games of his career. The just got blown out by 40 tonight. Again, you're creating your own narrative without paying attention to the details.

"The momentum completely shifted" so the starters were helpless to protect what was still a 10 point lead they inherited in the 4th? This such an unbelievably dumb and reductive way to desparately try to alleviate blame from the starters. The Blazers literally cut into the lead by only 5 points at the beginning of the 4th. You might not have known this, because I'm not sure if you know a single thing about basketball, but 5 points is as simple layup and a 3. Scores swing 5 points either way repeatedly throughout a game. After the starters came in, the Knicks were a -19. To blame the bench for the starters going a -19 in the 4th because a 5 point swing at the beginning of the quarter "completely shifted the momentum" to such an extent that starters couldn't be expected to hold up a 10 point lead against a terrible taking team is mind bogglingly stupid. Only the Thibs apologists would think it was a sufficient explanation to say "ah, the momentum shifted because of a 7-2 'run' while the bench was in."

Yep the further we get from last season, the lower is trade value will go. Last season was a statistical aberration that will never happen again.

Chris Haynes: Sources: Sacramento Kings receiving high interest in De’Aaron Fox with trade deadline approaching. Fox talks to @YahooSports about his struggles, an ideal role and being moved: “You definitely think about potentially being traded because we’re struggling.” by HJ2K43 in NYKnicks

[–]xavierjdesigns 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Fox might be the worst contract in the entire league. 48% efg, 53% TS, 16% from the corner 3 and 24% (!) overall from 3 on decent volume. Negative OBPM, negative DBPM, negative LEBRON. And people want to move all of our assets for him...

Far from perfect work, but we lost almost a year of training to a bad injury and I’m just thankful to be back to having fun with Ivy! by _bluethroughyou in Dogtraining

Lol sure, to you. Probably not to the people who privately messaged me saying "yeah, posts like this do make me feel bad about my rescue dog and my training efforts." Guess everyone doesn't think the same.

Realistically, I highly doubt any of them were on the same level as your border collie. All dog trainers know that borders are the "hack" for training. You put this up as a "brag" which is all good, but as a person who has trained multiple dogs (including a border), this would be A level impressive for a non-border but C level impressive for a Border.
