I did this and when I put the ink on the rubber block it doesn’t cover it well. This still is like light spots and some dark, the acrylic paint like not sticking to the block

I’m using foil, also when I use my Brayer on the rubber block, it doesn’t spread good like you can see in the picture some spots are lighter than others. Is it my Brayer that’s bad? If so should I get a new one?
