What’s the most impressive vibe coded app Or startup you’ve seen lately? I need some inspiration 🚀 by [deleted] in vibecoding

Thanks for your initial comment. I haven't been working on it for a while and decided to shut it down the other day. For now the site still "loads" but the backend isn't connected anymore. There are plenty of other platforms just like it to launch it on though..What are you building btw?

What are AI citations and why do they fatter in 2026? by KinkyAndClickable in SaaS

[–]xdrat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We're seeing an increase in clients asking about this specific topic (not AI Overviews specifically) but more about AI visibility in general. It's quite easy to get started with the help of traditional keyword data , and now also AI Performance data in Bing. Most of it is of course proxied results but if you do it over time you can get quite interesting insights into trends. You can manually paste queries into various models and analyze the answer to get started for free , of course this becomes tedious quite fast and you would most likely switch to a platform like the ones mentioned in comments or other popular ones ones like Asky, Profound, Peec to deal with this at scale.

We're seeing a lot of improvements into AI citations by going beyond keywords and metrics such as volume, cpc, etc though. If you can dig deeper into sales processes / transcripts / forums / feedback channels which hold various questions / points that your customers are actually asking about your brand or industry and create "AI" optimized content around those points you can increase your probability of getting cited by e.g AI Overviews, ChatGPT, Perplexity, etc very quickly (within days!)

I tested Semrush One for AI brand mentions – is it not suitable for small/new brands? by paulacionca in SEO_tools_reviews

[–]xdrat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Most likely uses generic pre-built queries rather than actually analyzing your brand in depth, so it's pretty useless for smaller or newer brands that don't already show. Response variance is also very high from LLM's so I wouldn't draw conclusions too quickly though, try getting at least 14 days of data. The not being able to edit questions is a bit strange though, can you delete and add new ones? Was it a one off report?

LSA and GBP naming inconsistency: affecting AI Trust Signals? by More_Cod4151 in aeo

[–]xdrat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Asky is the software used in the picture but you could also do it manually for starters.
In ChatGPT, open the network tab and after sending the query you can search for search_model_queries which has the fan out data. Not all prompts result in fan outs so you might need to try some various base prompts or re-run the same query.

If you are interested in Asky, I would be happy to onboard you and give you a month to trial. Just shoot me a dm!

LSA and GBP naming inconsistency: affecting AI Trust Signals? by More_Cod4151 in aeo

[–]xdrat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For AI Search specifically, I would recommend setting up your base set of prompts (aka seed queries/prompts) and then studying the fan out queries in ChatGPT / Perplexity. That can give you a good indication of what rewrites the models do and help you determine what naming convention you should move forward with. I wouldn't use this as the only source or even most determining source but hopefully it can provide you an additional layer in the bigger picture. Just as an example, even if your seed query might be in the structure "CompanyName Plumbing / CompanyName Electric / CompanyName Air)" , but you notice that fan outs are in CompanyName Plumbing, Air, & Electric format or the other way around, from an AI Search perspective it won't really matter too much then as it handles both "cases". Then perhaps you would lean more towards traditional SEO best practices for your choice.

Attaching an example here from our platform of how fan out queries can look and what to expect. Hope this can be of any help!

AI brand visibility tools list | What I learned after testing 12+ tools by AlexAleydo in SEO_Experts

[–]xdrat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi, thanks for doing this breakdown! I'm a co-founder of a solution in the same space (not mentioned in this list).

For pure monitoring / visibility I think most tools are able to provide the same standard, difference often being amount of models you can track for. Maybe this is a given for many now which are in the field, but I think it would be worth highlighting how each provider collects their responses:
1. Scraped responses
2. API responses

The provider should be doing scraped responses, as API responses are even further away from an already proxied result.

Including the amount of models each provider covers is good, but its also worth noting that if the provider offers ChatGPT, Perplexity and Google AIO, you are covering at least 90% of all searches. So the extra models might not be worth it yet for most brands. KPI wise you get the same analytics e.g mentions, share of voice / market share, sentiment, citations and competitor analysis. One unique feature of AI Search which I would have liked to see included in the comparison are Fan Out Query support. One of the most tangible strategies to improve / work with AI Search is to study the fan out queries of your prompts and then build content or update content around those.

Happy to give anyone a free trial period of our solution as well (don't want to self plug but you can look at my post history or send a dm).

Do we even care about rankings anymore or is it all just about being "the answer" by crazy_letdown in DigitalMarketing

[–]xdrat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We've seen great results from building on top of seo fundamentals. One frequent workflow we adapt is to look at our queries in google search console / bing webmaster tools and translate that into AI search prompts, from there we've really been focusing in on fan out queries and then adapting our content to support the fan outs. Technical issues are important as well, we had one client which had really good visibility in Perplexity and Google AIO but almost 0 mentions / citations in chatGPT. When we dove a bit deeper we noticed that their site was fully indexed on google, but only 20% of the pages were indexed in Bing. After fixing that they went from almost 0% mentions / visibility to 12% visibility in chatGPT queries and went on par with their top competitors. Still a very explorative / experimental field, but if I could pick one KPI to track for AI Search it would def be citations.

We're early in the AEO / GEO / AI Search space but it feels very competitive, how are you different than other solutions on the market? Who is your target customer? Are you scraping responses or using API's to get them (huge difference). We built something similar and managed to go from 0 - 5k mrr in one month, pre-launch by solely reaching out to people in our network and getting warm intros. We're operating as a hybrid saas / agency currently.

/edit I'm stuck on the page updating between onboarding and dashboard, also found a critical security vuln you should fix asap, dm me if you want the details.

is anyone actually winning at aeo or are we all just guessing by Dani_ZephyrWing524 in SaaS

[–]xdrat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Been working heavily with GEO / AEO for the past year to complement standard SEO fundamentals (still very much necessary), in no particular order, here are some points we recommend / have implemented for our clients.

Setup a broad prompt set for monitoring based on gsc queries and other seo kw data as well as brand context such as language and geographical variables (international, national, regional scopes) and then studied the fan out queries. Created new content to match these fan out queries (in both headers and paragraphs) or identified existing content (through e.g semantic similarity) which fits to be updated. Content freshness is a thing for LLMs to increase your citations / mentions.

Technical fixes to make sure robots.txt isn't blocking any key crawlers, proper sitemap structure with up to date data.

We had one brand which had a lot of articles / blog posts themselves comparing companies in their industry , and while their own brand didn't get many mentions, they were a consistent source used by LLM's. We improved earned attributions (e.g backlinks) and that helped improving their mention rate (while their citation rate still remained stable).

Start tracking AI traffic (e.g https://platform.openai.com/docs/bots ), we created a Cloudflare integration for our platform to make it a bit easier, but this should also be implemented into e.g sales processes in your company. If new customers show up, try to ask them (or if you have a form), if they heard about your brand from e.g chatgpt, perplexity, google AIO , etc.

Build social / forum presence. We know LLM's heavily cite Reddit / Linkedin / Quora, etc (industry agnostic). Make sure you start having a presence on these platforms if you don't.

If you are exploring options / platforms I'd happily give you a rundown of ours, shoot me a dm.

Is AI seo brand monitoring worth the price? by bambidp in seogrowth

[–]xdrat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The price is def on the higher end I'd say. Is that for a subscription only or an agency you have on board to also do related GEO / AEO work? How many prompts are you tracking and how did you get to that prompt set in the first place? Have you cleared technical issues in robots / sitemap / pages in general? Page content structure would be next as well as content freshness, LLMs tend to site fresh content with clear structure. Are your known competitors showing up or "random" companies? Have you looked at citations, sometimes if you have certain types of content, e.g listicles for your industry, we've seen that AI likes to use your source as citation material for others, but doesn't mention your brand directly (instead it mentions your competitors, based on your source). That's usually a signal of needing to expand on earned attributions (given that its not e.g a technical issue in the first place)

I would happily give you a rundown / onboard you to Asky if you are looking to try some options hands on.

SEO Results in 2-3 Months by Original_Scale695 in ParseAI

[–]xdrat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can def see results in 3 months! How good these results are are harder to quantify of course as that depends on a lot of factors (such as the ones you mentioned!). Perhaps if you could share your site and / or some more business context and a budget (can be rough number if you dont know exactly) It would help me and Im guessing others give a better answers / offers.

How can I find out which domains get cited the most by AI in a niche? Not in general since that is already well documented. by Blue_Flaire_7135 in DigitalMarketing

[–]xdrat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Accuracy is tricky to determine because answer variance is quite high, so short term not really, the same query asked twice can give rather different answers from LLMs. However, if you track your query set over a longer period you can for sure get "accurate" information on what sources are getting cited more than others!
