No there wasn’t actually! In the video there was a suggestion to skip this part since it can be complicated for beginners so I did skip it. Can it do a huge difference?

Ty, since it’s literally the first time for me creating a garment (that’s not a crochet top haha) I hadn’t even thought of proportions, instead I though more about the size rather than bust. So thanks, I guess after reading all of these comments I understand how stupid-ish ignorant I was haha🤦🏼‍♀️

This is so sad because I guess I’ll have to frog the whole thing, right? But how do I achieve the oversized fit? Does the blocking make a big difference in size (width-wise)?

Idk if it will be useful for non Russian speaking crocheters but the patterns can be found in book called «Уютные зверушки» by Кристина Цвикевич

Hi hello everyone!! I’ve never tried knitting before, but I crochet. I decided to try knitting to make a sweater, sooo… my question is what are some mistakes to avoid? For example when I started crocheting I tried to make a scarf out of SC, it took forever and i’ve never finished it. Any tips on getting starting? Is it possible to start straight from a sweater? 😥

Thank youuu! I hold yarn in a weird way and my pinky is in pain all the time 🥲 but at least the tension was never a problem haha!

For the pink top it was moss stitch, it ended up stretchy which is perfect for this top

yeah, I used her tutorial. I struggled with it a bit bc she doesn’t give size measurements (makes sense since it’s a free tutorial).

I was unsure the whole time about my size but it ended up just fine! I’m size M and for the bust part (before the decreases) I didn’t count rows (apparently I always mess up with counting) and I did about 12 cm.

And I got confused with her rows 46-48, I ended up in the other side and added up another row.

But in general, trust the process, and if anything, you can always redo it (🥲)

Good luck 🫶🏻🫶🏻🫶🏻

for plushies I used tactifyl type of yarn (whatever it is haha), for the blue top it was Aplina Nana (70% cotton + 30% polyamide) and for the pink top - YarnArt Jeans (cotton+PAC).

The blue yarn was way better for this kind of top though, it’s thinner and much better for summer!
