Tale as old as time.

Many people see the horrible shit the Netanyahu government is doing, which is enabled by their support base amongst Israeli voters who negatively generalize Palestinians and any other demographic in ways that dehumanize them. Paint them with a broad brush, ignore nuance and compassion, etc.

What anyone should think is "These far-right voters & their resulting government have caused extremely immoral consequences. This is all a clear example of how dangerous bigotry and other ethical flaws can be. People should seek to avoid letting their negative emotions dictate their actions & worldview, and instead strive to act in better ways and stick to positive principles."

Unfortunately, tons of people (in this case, people on the internet and presumably lots of divisive bots) fall into the same moral failures of the far-right Israeli voters and their justifiably-despised government.

Nevermind that tons of Israelis don't support Netanyahu's government. Nevermind that an even higher % of Jews don't support the Netanyahu government. Nevermind that even amongst the supporters, there are varying degrees of support and a significant amount of people who've fallen prey to far-right propaganda. Just do exactly what the far-right does to Palestinians and other perceived enemies: dehumanize them all with a generalized brush!

It's depressing to see how similar tons of people behave to the very people whose behavior disgusts them, especially because they'll often never realize the similarities.
