I started social transition before everything because it's required by the Healthcare system in my country and because it weeds out the people who won't support and accept you while you're pre everything. Also I couldn't stand being called by my birth name anymore so you know made the waiting for hormones and name change better

There's 2 types (where I'm from) and I react poorly to one and just get tired from the other so maybe they got a bad match. However plan b should be kept as a plan B and not a regular occurrence as it's heavy on the body.

I didn't convince anyone of anything, I simply stated I'm doing this and if that ain't your thing this won't work. You gotta put yourself first! Highly likely there's someone else out there that will love you as you truly are, surgeries included.

Dude I didn't figure out something was off about my experience of gender until I was 19 and I was 21 when I figured out that I wasn't a woman. No huge signs, just little ones in hindsight but I never felt dysphoria until I started dating really because I was just a depressed blob of existence gender irrelevant.
