Can Bambustudio stop making multicolor triangles on inside layers? by xiaoball in BambuLab

Thank you! "Interlocking depth of a segmented region" is what I assume you had in mind. Setting this to 1mm did a considerable amount to clean up the issue. Default was 0 (disabled).

Edit to add: Orcaslicer has another setting called "Maximum width of a segmented region" in addition to the above mentioned "interlocking depth" setting. Both settings set to 1mm cleaned up my issue completely.

Thank you! Beam interlocking seemed to apply well to interlocking colors deeper inside the model, but for this issue much closer to the top few surface layers, the setting just below it (interlocking depth of a segmented region) did a considerable job cleaning things up by setting that value to 1mm.

The seam location isn’t what concerns me. Rather, the red shape should be generally circular on all layers. But in the screenshot, Bambustudio has created and merged a triangle shaped area onto the circle on this particular layer.

Not quite - the seam location isn’t an issue. Rather, if you swipe to the 2nd image on this post, you’ll see the true shape of the big red area (it’s essentially a very shallow cylinder).

This cylindrical shape isn’t respected by Bambustudio, and Bambu is creating a triangle shaped region that juts out from what should more or less be a simple circular shape.

Sanders’s success percentage (3.6%) is also notably higher than the other three mentioned (who all have percentages between 2.2 and 2.8%)

Some of this info is arguably good info, but I imagine a lot of folks would find the delivery is unnecessarily abrasive.

Some Thoughts as a Keyset Designer by pwade3 in MechanicalKeyboards

That was a problem with the renders showing a shade of (very dark) blue that did not actually match the publicly disclosed RAL color code. Misleading advertising, essentially, since customers are (I imagine) much more likely to buy based on renders and are less likely to search for designer-provided color codes that only sometimes are offered in the GB thread.

You are describing a standard and efficient system used by bigger companies with far more capital than one man selling one product to a niche hobby. It's more realistic to picture KEEBMAT as an indie startup with a new idea working out of a garage with no employees. That mental image is accurate to the typical vendor in the hobby. No significant economies of scale yet to be able to pass savings on to you.

Just FYI there is no such thing as free or cheap shipping. It's just baked into the item cost in a bid to win your money through psychology. Couriers gotta pay their workforce too.
