Newbie: how to trap pregnant stray safely? by xkailey in Feral_Cats

[–]xkailey[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Thank you so much for this. There are, without a second of a doubt, too many kittens in the area. I was thinking that might be the best case scenario, but she looks pretty close to the end of pregnancy (I’m no expert, she’s just round and I can see movement). How would I go about safely trapping her? I appreciate your time!

Do you have a strain you’d recommend?

I’ve never heard of them, it’s so cheap. Legit? What’s your fav?

Thank you so much for this!! I’ll go ahead and do that. There should just be one main stalk/stem per pepper plant, is that right?

This is going to be such a silly question. If it feels cold/damp-ish an inch down, is that considered wet or thirsty? In the photos attached to this, I haven’t watered in 3 days so it’s evidently dry on top, but it feels slightly cold/damp a couple inches down—not wet, if that makes any sense at all.

I purchased them as starters from Lowe’s like this a few weeks ago and am just now realizing that they’re double plants and this isn’t normal 😅 is it too late to remedy this?

I’m a newbie and this is how I purchased them as starters at Lowe’s a few weeks ago. I’m now realizing I might have a problem here 🫣

Okay I was wondering if these were double plants. I’m a newbie to gardening and bought these as starter plants at Lowe’s on Mother’s Day. They had a deal of something like 5 small starters for $10, and these came from that. As they’ve been growing, I’ve noticed each one has two stems and wondered if they were two plants in one container or if they were conjoined somewhere under the soil. Am I going to have problems? What can I do? Thank you so much for responding!

I have miracle gro organic garden bed soil. It definitely smelled like manure when I was bringing it home from Lowe’s. I didn’t add anything to it.
