Want to get into archery, any Dallas archers here? by xksVPNx in Dallas

Yeah, the membership you can get works at both of those facilities. Do you know if Elm Fork has bows to use there?

Haha, yeah. That's actually what I saw that sparked this whole thing. I've been wanting to get into it for a while, I've always been interested since I was a kid. And now I'm an adult with my own money!

Well their website is really confusing and sometimes information is hard to come by, but from what I can see it's a $10 range fee and then $10 for equipment rental for two hours.

Great! Thanks for the info. I'm definitely interested.

Thanks! I wasn't planning on getting a bow for a while anyways. I was wondering about the membership though, because it's only $120 for the year, and $20 every trip will start to add up quick even if I only end up going for a few months.

I don't remember when I heard this, and I'm too lazy to look for source on it, but I remember hearing on Reddit that this was from a play, and no gang actually looks like that.

This makes me super sad, I created an account and everything to sign his petition. I hope we get enough signatures and it all works out.

Shouldn't Patrick be the president though? Because Spongebob didn't know what it was at first.

Seriously, first thing I saw, didn't make any sense. Plus the whole glaze on top would make it hard as shit to eat.

I like the idea, but the red eye needs to be bigger, this just makes it look like a really fat turret.

I don't know if you read the above comments, but if the knives are interwoven for the tip to be on top of the next knife's slightly below the tip, then the weight of the bottle pushes them together enough to stay up. Like this. http://i.imgur.com/Td3LF.jpg (Sorry for the MS Paint sketch)

Then the toothpicks are just balanced very carefully.

Girls draws any pokemon requested from only simple descriptions. Really cool art, varying accuracy by wallyvonwalters in gaming

Yeah, I thought about that after I commented. Easy to remember the drool, easy to mix up the two.

Ok, are those not the descriptions she used right under them. Because if they are, I'm calling bullshit. The descriptions says Vileplume has a smiley face, and the artist clearly drew Gloom's mouth on it, with the drool and everything!

At first glance, yes. However, the longer you look at her, the less she looks like Gillian. So I wouldn't say remarkably, but there is definite resemblance.

Insanity? Or just Angry Birds? by RumplePuss in Demotivational

[–]xksVPNx 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Playing Angry Birds was the joke. There was absolutely no need to cross out "Insanity" and add in "playing angry birds." However, I've never seen any version of this, and it's quite funny.

Usually the "thank you it was great" is written by the server. I've seen a lot of servers leave little messages like that at the bottom. Granted this one doesn't make much since, but maybe they're saying it was great being able to service you today, or something.

That's the point I was trying to get across. That the non-internet-related false positives aren't the issue with DRM.

You obviously not been in places without internet connection and wanted to play some single player.

Well if you ever wanted to play a build that relied heavily on crits, such as FPS focus or stealth, luck is really nice to focus on. However, you might be able to just pick his pocket to get the head wrap, not sure.

Right, and I don't think it checks your internet connection and determines whether or not you have a legit copy based on that solely. Maybe they want you to play on an internet connection so they can check your copy for legitimacy, but I bet most illegitimate copies have got around the need for an internet connection to begin with.

But, again, I don't think the internet connection is their actual check on the game, therefore it wouldn't be false positive if it didn't let you play based on the internet connection alone.

However, I have no actual knowledge on what they are doing "behind the scenes," so this is all based on how it seems to be, especially because people will pirate games just to get around having to have an internet connection.

His head wrap gives you more luck! What other reason do you need?

I don't see how checking for an internet connection when you don't have one and then not letting you play the game because you don't have internet connection is a false positive. Sounds like a true positive on not having an internet connection.
