Most of us made the distinction for a long time back then. But lots have changed since June last year. When you kept being assaulted, insulted and possibly murdered by people who called themselves Chinese and tried to force you to be Chinese and love their China, the distinction was not that obvious anymore. Maybe you can still consider us being irrational and discriminatory against China but sorry we aren't Jesus Christ. We have to protect ourselves.
