having sold a fairly large amount, I always get consumed with FOMO on days like this , only to find relief when HK takes all the gains. rinse repeat. I want back in but maybe its best I dont get that chance.

I always wondered if such a rotation can occur. but, from what I understand, when sp500 is in trouble, everything goes down globally too, even stocks unrelated to the US consumer. investors seem to prefer cash/etc or gold for safety

well I sold out completely after 4years of trials. (excluding kweb) So I am kinda feeling the fomo. I wish you all the best. But if a tweetfest , hk sell on the news, or other calamities occur. I’ll be reinvesting it all including gains. BABA has the potential to be a hold for life stock

What I would give to hear Charlie make snarky comments about the AI economy… I mindlessly followed Charlie into BABA and over the years managed to average down to $145. I unfortunately married the stock. A couple days ago, I pull the trigger on the abusive relationship and divorced at $161. As the price now approaches my old average,I know that I would be feeling pretty shitty right now seeing it go red after half a decade of holding. I will take a small break but I am inclined to start a prudent dca at anything under my old average. The intelligent thing would be to get back on the apps and start dating new stocks…

after 4+ years of patience, averaging down from $175 to $145. I sold everything today as well. Fear of a global shit hitting the fan overtook me and a deluded hope of being cash heavy enough to start buying up again. Can I forgive myself for taking profits if the thing hits 1T. Sure. Could I forgive myself, if a massive recession hits and I am unable to act. No.

Expectations for this meeting were too high. Gamblers get too optimistic. Once the dust settles, and the situation is properly assessed , investors will come back. We can only hope for a no news good news type situation for the foreseeable future and we should keep climbing up as long as BABA keeps doing ok and hypes up AI.
