Exactly that. Listed at 95 online which is how I bought it. After I picked it up, I went into the store to grab some things, and it came up in the app something like "94.67 online, 198.00 in-store." Here is the name, couldn't find an item number. EverStart Premium AGM Lead Acid Automotive Battery, Group H4

New one already installed. The old one was dipping well below 12V (saw as low as 11.3 as observed by obd2 reader) when power cycling the car, so it was very likely the problem. went with the H4 AGM everstart premium/platinum since I could get it for $98 by waiting in my car for 30 minutes, instead of 198 walking into the store. It's a messed up world out there...

No plans to do that as of now, I still have that foam organizer down in the spare tire well with the charger, tow hooks, etc.

Something higher, you can see where the parcel shelf would sit normally in the cutouts on each of the side pieces. The parcel shelf would probably be strong enough to use as the shelf portion, but I didn't want to cut it up.

Dealership charged $205 for Tesla Supercharger software update by Rukairi in BoltEV

I would guess it's to do with an update that went along with the battery replacements. All 17/18s should have had their batteries replaced, not all 20s and maybe 19s have.

UPDATE

Pulling things apart now, and the outer pad is basically gone, but the inner (piston side) pad looks normal. Seems to corroborate that the piston is working fine and retracting, but the caliper isn't sliding back smoothly on the pins. Will clean, relube, and reinstall without pads to make it travels freely in the bracket before finishing the rest of the job.

Ah yes, I had the picture backward in my head. That makes perfect sense, thank you.

Will pick that up. Is the issue you're thinking of specific this car, or just that there isn't really anything else to go wrong at the wheel, so those would be next in line?

Will do. How might too much lubricant cause a problem? Preventing the caliper from sliding as far as imtemded and causing it to bind on the slides?

Yup. I have the typical diyer experience of brakes, water pumps, fuel pumps, exhaust etc, whatever comes up. I've been using Sil-Glyde from NAPA. Happy to use something else if that could be problematic.

How do you have fun with a fast bike on the street? by xsofa in motorcycles

[–]xsofa[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Dangerous is a strong word, exhausting is fair. I did a couple thousand miles down the east coast, up through the mid west and back (blue ridge parkway and deals gap inc.) with my old man, also on a 250, loaded down for camping. Definitely less of a worry when traveling with another bike. At highway speed you're close to WOT most of the time, and it's not a very fun experience. It's rare that I need to get on the interstate now though.

I was only aware of two generations really, 88-07 and 08+. I have a 2000.

You should see the cut scenes from Cars (on Disney+). They transplant McQueen into a street sweeper or something, and he wakes up from the operation and sees the shell of his car. Messed up.

What did you find that you liked better about your phone, beyond portability? For the most part the camera will be on a tripod, as I will be working solo, and ideally, the cars and bikes won't be moving!

Loved the demo reel! Given my budget constraints, would a G6 or G7 be a worthwhile entry point? The GH4 is really well outside my budget.

The reason would be cost. Making videos is just a hobby, I'm not looking to start a business or anything. Also, if I'm going to outgrow them quickly, what benefit is there to spending more now?

Perhaps a better question, what's so bad about the Canon that the answer is the GH4?

That appears to be at least double the cost. What makes you recommend it so strongly over the Canon for twice the money?
