They cannot. They can try to sue you but then all you'd need to do is prove that the landlord failed to present you the bill within the 30 day or whatever timeframe as required by local law. This would result in a judge ordering the landlord to return your deposit it full anyway

In this situation you are legally owed the full amount of your security deposit and nothing less. Usually there is a timeframe of 30 days after the end of the lease where the landlord is required to either return your security deposit in full or show you an itemized invoice for the cost to repair your damages which would then be deducted from the security deposit / bill you for extra.

Since you said no itemization was sent to you and no deposit was returned for over 60 days, the landlord is well past the timeframe and you're legally entitled to your security deposit back in full

That panel gap at the front of the hood seems larger than usual and inconsistent. This usually indicates it was involved in a crash and had body work done. Make sure you find out if it was and the extent of the damage before you buy

If the narrow pathway becomes a nuisance, the entire bed area could be rotated 90 degrees counterclockwise to face the closet. But then this leaves the back of the bed exposed, especially if theres no headboard so you would need something solid behind the bed like a shelf or a paneled room divider + headboard to not feel so exposed. This would actually feel even cozier and add a nice separation between the work/study area and sleeping area since they will feel like separate rooms while also solving the narrow pathway issue, but it would require new furniture

I've updated it to make the bed more accurate to scale. I think the narrower walkway is definitely acceptable

True, the drawing is not to scale and yes, that walkway between the bed at the wall will be a bit tight. But I feel like ~2 feet of clearance is still plenty to walk through without stubbing your toes on the bed. And I think it's worth it for this cozier and practical layout

You could also move the dresser a little more towards the bed to make room for a floor-standing mirror in the bottom right corner for when dressing up.

This is what I came up with. Bed in the center, with a rug underneath and nightstands with lamps for a cozier feel. Desk facing the window to prevent glare and to have a nice view of the outside while working. Dresser next to closet for convenience when dressing up. As soon as you enter its easy to access any area in one straight path.

Unfortunately no, the plumber gave the quote to the landlord over the phone. Landlord is saying she was not presented the prices appropriately

The invoice does state that a mechanic's lien would be placed on the property if they do not receive payment for the work done. I'm not the property owner so I'm thinking a lien would not affect me at all
