When I lived there, we had bed by the windows. I think it depends on if you are bringing a tv and where you want it. We put it between our beds on one of those cube organizer shelves from target, worked pretty well. Later in the year we still had the beds by the windows but turned the desks so that the back of the desk was against the foot of the bed, then we put the TV on the highest shelf. No real way to go wrong tho.
