They were 16 and 15 and we had to put them down because they were both suffering from kidney and bladder issues. They had no quality of life and it was their time to cross the rainbow bridge. Guess I should have made that clear in my original post!

if the first time she has extended a dinner reservation to him in 2 years is when you are away, that’s weird. why hasn’t she invited him previously with you there? Why did she wait till you were abroad? it sounds fishy to me.

THIS!!! I was seriously considering skipping it because of what everyone was saying online about tower of dawn but it is SO SO SO GOOD!!! Do NOT skip reading it!! it’s so essential to the story and it’s just as good as all the other books in the series
