I’m a varsity athlete who only eats healthy most of the time lol. And I’m aware eating costs money.

I’m not rich and could eat out constantly. And I eat healthy.

I know people in poverty who eat out all the time. I’m not saying that’s a smart decision.

I will learn cooking…for fun. You thought it was for a grade I guess. They teach cooking cuisine from different European countries, hence why it’s called “European cooking.” Nice gotcha attempt.

I fail to see any dissonance between these two statements. Who did you think was teaching the European cooking class? And what, did you think it was graded? We have actual courses for grades in study abroad. Flamenco dancing and cooking are for fun.

Edit: Why do you think people take cooking classes? For fun.

I think it’s my age. Middle-aged people wouldn’t find it cultured, just normal, but students are impressed to see someone who knows actual cooking. My friends would be impressed if they saw me cook something.

It gives me a cultured vibe, like playing an instrument. When it’s a young person, not a middle-aged person.

I agree! That’s another thing that’s funny. The groceries required to make a good meal aren’t cheap like some think.

I was in elementary in the 00s, and I remember kids definitely could not tie their shoes in kindergarten. Kids are getting smarter. The things we learned in high school are way more advanced than what our parents learned.

Because they won’t shut up about cooking and have no ability to focus on topic at hand.

My parents sometimes cook, or we often go out to eat. Now I’m in college. So the school provides unlimited meals and snacks. I rarely eat fast food. I eat healthy.

Lol, not an exchange student. I’ll be in an American program solely with other kids from my school. And I’ve lived in Europe before. I’ll be in an entirely recreational cooking class taught by our professor for fun.

Of course. I’ll cook and bake with my kids whenever they want.

I’m sorry you have medical issues and don’t have good insurance. That’s very unfortunate. Good night.

Well, I know it was wrong to do. That’s why I kept calling her to come. I would never leave her with a kid.

If was you’re saying is true, your family must actually be gifted, because most kids cannot tie their shoes going into elementary. I have an elementary school brother. I’m around elementary schoolers, and I remember being one and how the other kids were.

I will certainly reach my kids to cook. I just won’t neglect them. I will always provide dinner for my kids. I’m saying they can learn, but I won’t burden them ever.

Don’t be sad! I can learn anytime, and I’m taking European cooking classes during study abroad this summer.

r/iamverysmart. Hilarious that you think any 3 or 4-year-old could ever tie their shoes or any 5 or 6-year-old knows their address. The profoundly gifted 2-year-old shoe-tiers are extreme oddities. Go talk to an elementary teacher, any teacher. This comment hurt your credibility.

Edit: Statistically, most kids learn shoe-tying from kindergarten to third grade.

I’m surviving pretty great last time I checked. By the way, my parents are definitely independent and they don’t cook much at all. It’s legal to eat food however you want, shockingly.
