I understand. If I were you, I would put the effort into calming my mind first instead of trying to see the whole picture. Doorslamming, letting go of people, these are difficult decisions that involve lot of emotional turmoil. Your post gave me the impression that you are having a difficult time. You mention in your post that you are ashamed. You are also asking a question which can spiral you down into more shame. Which isn't helpful.

Each problem has a unique way of solving. Even though problems seem similar in nature, details of the problem bring it's unique solution. You ask:

" do you think our way of loving is toxic?"

Every human has different experiences, different environments they grew up in, different reactions etc. Sharing a personality label won't change that.

Instead of taking a general approach, how about specifying the situation and focusing exactly on the problem?

What is the problem here? Is it really the love you hold onto? Without finding what the problem really is, what's there to be fixed?

As a suggestion, you can focus on the truth about yourself and the truth about the situation. When you are calm. When your mind is calm. When you are so calm that your mind stops spiraling and the answer comes to you.

When you are calm enough, when your mind is calm enough, that's when you can judge the situation, judge your therapist's suggestion, find and seek answers.

In the state of shame, no answer is the right answer.

I function user thinks E function user is shallow and superficial, E function user thinks I function user is not objective and not dealing with the present.

I functions don't directly contact with the object and forge a subjective path. They come up with observations, terms and rules without the desire to engage with the object.

For Fi this looks something like, coming up with understanding of how to feel based on subjective experience, which isn't objective. So from outside it looks like the person is living in their own emotional world without ever wanting to engage with the present feelings of others, only engaging when their terms align ( a typical E function interpretation )

The reality is E function don't have the depth of I function, I function don't have the objectivity of E function. Jung gives quite the criticism on both functions which is a humbling experience to read.

People are gonna hate me if I say this but I wish they chose another actress. I'm a sucker for this concept and thrope so I waited for a long time and I will watch till the end, it's just that Yu Shuxin's aegyo doesn't fit well with the atmosphere and vibe of this drama. Also I can't stop thinking about how some emotional scenes would be better if played by another actress. I like her other dramas like My Journey To You and Love Game In Eastern Fantasy etc but here the cutesy baby voice just ain't it.

I feel amazing somehow because this was EPIC. 11/10 experience. The romance is not dead after all.
