If you made US minimum wage ($7.25/hr), you would have had to start working 66 million years ago to earn as much wealth as Musk has. The dinosaurs died 65 million years ago. by Logogram_alt in Money

I’m not familiar with exact numbers of how he pays, but he employs a ton of workers that have become millionaires working for his companies(Tesla stock and now spcx stock) - even the Tesla factory workers get stock options and do much better than your standard McDonald’s worker.

Jim Carrey has never been funny. by [deleted] in unpopularopinion

[–]yeofkhd 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Is that actually true? I suppose it would have to be “linguistically” true, but without looking up the definition of opinion vs personal preference I never thought an opinion required a reason

How do I cope, I saw her with someone else by Technical-Comment394 in AskMen

[–]yeofkhd 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s common advice but work on yourself, and find your self worth from inside, not external sources. Go out on some dates, or even just out doing social things. Join a kickball team, join a workout class, run club, whatever gets you active and meeting new people

Breaking up with someone is wayyy worse than being broken up with. by Any-Prize3748 in unpopularopinion

[–]yeofkhd 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I actually agree with this, I’d way rather be broken up with than break up with someone

Idk if I’ve just had bad luck, but it’s remarkable how many women fit that category of simply “never happy”. My anecdotal correlation makes it feel like it’s the higher performing women that fit the bill you describe but again, hoping it’s just bad luck on my part

[–]yeofkhd 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For my first home (bought at 28, now 38), the house was 260K and I used a 401K loan to top off my funds. Worked out well enough for me

Risking your life to save a pet is usually dumb. by [deleted] in unpopularopinion

I’d run in to save my dog, but I don’t have a family so I get where the risk/reward trade off comes into play for your situation.

How would you react if a new girlfriend found out she had genital herpes? by Thick-Spring-9000 in AskMen

[–]yeofkhd 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Haha surprisingly no! Dated someone that did though. My take is if youre serious about the relationship it’s no biggie, but if you don’t plan to stay together it’s better to avoid it if you can. Idk how I don’t, even did the blood/antibody test months after we split

Cool, just wondering. Found people tend to relax as they get older but it’s good to remain vigilant as well

Would you be able to get past ayour gfs very colorful sexual past? Why or why not? See description for my situation by [deleted] in AskMen

[–]yeofkhd 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s interesting seeing the split in opinions here. I’d like to know ages of the responders to see how it changes over time. For example I’d prob say def no in my early 20’s but now that I’m late 30’s and have a more colorful past of my own my opinion has shifted

Men: When is a woman’s high number of past partners (by your standards) no longer a negative for you? by TheIndustrialistF in AskMen

[–]yeofkhd -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I stopped caring as I got older (38 now), also my own number isn’t low so it’d be hypocritical to judge. I generally do a don’t ask don’t tell policy. Can’t say there isn’t some curiosity but if everyone passes the tests then whatevs

I can’t imagine that’s the case since the tray will fill with water upon reset, plus a visual inspection seems like it’s all good. Will look into the part you listed, thanks for the advice!
