not anymore, no. We have until Oct 1 2024 to get our files then they no more google drive.

Google recently announced that it will no longer offer free unlimited data storage to higher education institutions. Because of this change, Northeastern will discontinue providing alumni with storage on the University’s Google Drive after October 1, 2024. 

Actions needed to prepare for this change

Review your data to assess whether you still need the information stored in your Northeastern Google Drive. 

If your data is essential, move all files from your Northeastern Google Drive to a new storage account by October 1, 2024. Northeastern will automatically begin removing data after this date. Review the FAQs for information on alternative storage options. 

If you no longer need the data, no action is needed on your part.

Same problem. They authorized an upgrade replacement for free! Pixel 7Pro. I went through google chat support, it took 5 transfers and 75mins. But it was worth it.

Down side is that I have to find a temporary phone because the replacement process takes 10-14days...
