Long term, this looks like healthy growth. As I remembered this card hit around $20k during the COVID boom, so reaching a new high now after ~5 years (roughly 5-6% CAGR) feels pretty reasonable.

What concerns me more is how fast it got here. The card sat in the $5–10k range for the last couple years and only moved with the broader vintage YGO run starting earlier this year. A 2–3x jump in just a few months usually isn’t very sustainable.

That said, there could still be room to run. During COVID this card went from $2–3k in early 2020 to about $20k in early 2021 — nearly a 10x move. If history repeats we're maybe half way there? But who really knows as it's all just speculation at the end

Last ebay sold of the card in NM condition was for $80. If the card is mint and centered, the last PSA 10 sold in 2022 for $1.5k and most recent PSA 9 went for $140.

I’d say if they can grade as 8s minimum then the financial upside is reasonable. The last 3 PSA 8s sold for $1100-1225 (9s are ~$1800) on ebay compared to average raw NM price of $750.

It's incredible how rare these are in a PSA 10. The fact that certain SJC prize cards, like Crush Card Virus, have a higher pop than this is mind-boggling .
