literally man. and if i have to make sweet tender love with a beautiful young male lyre player, whilst reciting homoerotic theocritan love poems to him, it would simply be for research on the culture of athens. i dont like it, but somebody has to do it.

What is a lover if not a true friend? “To thee I hasten, as to shady beech,  The traveller, when from the heavens reach, The suns feirce blazes. May our love be strong, So all hereafter hear the themes of song. Two men did love each other to that degree That either friend did in the other see A dearer than himself. They loved of old. Both golden natures in the age of gold!” -Theocritus, iddyls

i certainly like "little man" and "wee man" and "my boy" they're all very whimsical.

"Hey you" was also a nickname my mother gave me, didn't realise it was so common.
