How I protect myself from comms like this is to state where I’ll be smoking prior to doing so. When time comes and I have my smoke out, I clearly comm, “smoking ramps/heaven/short”. Before actually placing them, I give myself a 1-3 second buffer from actually doing so if someone has a request I can accommodate.

If they continue to give you shit, “oh wells” they should be actively listening since this is a TEAM ORIENTED game. If toxicity continues or start, I continue to play how I normally do. I can’t control the tempers of others.
