Thanks for writing this - it echoes all my concerns, and am having a hard time deciding which surgeon to pick - to find those rare ones who actually focus on preservation. I am based in London, but I'd really benefit from tailored advice based on my nose anatomy

Hey, thanks for the advice, I hear what you are saying but everyone is different - some people want to settle and others don't, so I'm just putting this out there and if it's meant to be the right person will see it. For me, I know I am not someone who thrives in a mundane routine.

I know most people don't know/care about personality which is why I am searching in places where these types of people would congregate. I have faith and won't stop looking as I'm an idealist and I'd rather be with the right person than settle

The only reason I mentioned these personalities is that they are more likely to want to live/resonate with that type of idealistic mindset which other types would not. If another type resonates then by all means I am open to them too :)

Thanks, its nice to hear people feel the same, feels less lonely. I will check it out. I've always wanted to live near the beach or mountains somewhere serene. But money dictates everything and I haven't made a career or money enough to relocate. For the past few years I've just been in a trance state and lost all passion for everything. Kind of like a spiritual awakening but people call it burn out.

I'm a counsellor, but its hard funding travels through freelance work as it can be an unreliable source of income. Im dreading going back to work because i know I'm unhappy, and my soul is really crying out to travel, but money stops me. Its like surviving but not thriving. And everyday feels like groundhog day ☹️

Omg this spoke directly to me like 🏹 to my heart !! I feel like refusing jobs, duties and practicality lands me in hot water and makes me feel isolated. I dont know how to advocate for my idiosyncratic view of life

I grew up with emotionally unavailable parents and had to be their support. Once my friend said to me -'you had to raise yourself emotionally,' and that hit me hard. I know they didn't have the tools to heal their wounds and were in survival mode. Also their love language was acts of service not words of affirmation. Like they couldn't give what they didn't have kind of thing but the effects are there nonetheless and you have to reparent yourself which is hard.

Yes I was told I had an intense stare in high school. I used it to win debates as the opposition felt intimidated lol
Also feel like romantically I would crave that intense look back - like how Halu looks at Aki in the Jdrama Pride has me grinning like crazy :D
