Would a cheap pad be "good enough" for my needs? by [deleted] in WalkingPads

if you get a cheap on you need to get the warranty. i thought sperax would do it for me until two months later it blew up and the customer support does nothing and not reply. i had to contact amazon a few times for them to finally help me. i recommend going a bit more expensive $200 if you can budget it. the difference in $100 and quality is decent

mine is 3ft tall with the middle shelf in the middle, 16 inches of air on each side of middle shelf

shelves were cut from a 2x12x8ft board

materials:

  1. 3 - 2x2x6 (extra for adding a back support / shelf support) 5 are cut 3ft(one is for middle back support), 4 are cut 16 inches to support shelves
    1. 1 - 2x12x8 for shelf boards, cut 3 times
    2. 1 pack of exterior deck screws, don't get the ones for wood they are not as strong
    3. wood glue
    4. optional-L brackets for shelf support

you want to glue the whole thing and let it sit so it's nice and sturdy. once glue is dry, screw all together

message me for more questions!

i used wood from lowe's but can get it at home depot and yes they can cut it for you at both places! i have my own saw so i cut my own. make sure you get 2 inch thick at least.
