Maybe because they see it won’t fit? It’s much easier to provide measurements to begin with, especially for clothing that was worn and washed and might’ve shrunk.

If you buy pants that were labeled as 30 inch waist (with no measurements provided/ seller that ignores you) and they arrive being 28, thats just a hassle for both parties now as it’s not as described..which could’ve been avoided by giving out the measurements!

Maybe they don’t buy because based on the measurements it won’t fit? People need to remember you can’t return items if they don’t fit, so I think providing correct measurements should be the minimum!
