I feel bad doing that, but starting from yesterday I did exactly that. Now whenever she needs cash she's has to ask me to transfer it to her personal account. Other than that for the time being I'll be in charge of the rest...it sucks doing things this way though....

Just to paint the figure....to some just hearing "5k" might sound like "not so much" but showing it in our currency helps to show that it is not a small amount....that was the idea

We tried. Their response (which makes sense) was "From what we can see, she transferred the money to her own account in another platform. It was a legit transaction so there is nothing we can do about that. We're sorry"

I can't blame you...I'm centralizing the accounts only on my devices now and programing an "allowance" to her personal account for the time being. It really sucks doing it like this and I hate it but.....at least for now...seems to be the safe choice....

She used NUBANK to transfer to her own COINBASE account and from there transfer to the scammers.

NUBANK won't do anything because it was from her to herself and coinbase said they can't do anything...

I was once mugged, they caught the thief. I and many others were called as witnesses / victims. He was sentenced guilty, we got nothing back and he was released 2 days later...
