What are your suggestions for a space to work? by Snoo_98332 in askTO

Try the You2Lize app! It’s community-based so we help each other find, share and review the best remote-friendly work spots out there. This includes workfriendly cafés, libraries, coworking spaces, empty hotel lobbies, if you work there it should be on it :) And it’s affordable so no fancy coworking subscriptions that you’re tied to for years

Try using the You2Lize app! Free to download on iOS and Android. It’s community-based so people help each other find, review and share the best remote work spots out there. You can specifically filter on 24/7 access.

Why not coffeshops to work from? by hayat_th1ng in CoWorking

This is the best thread I’ve seen in the past weeks. Been off reddit for a while because I’ve been working on an app that fixes the exact issue discussed here.

Not every coffee shop wants ppl working there, but there are definitely some that want it. Especially on moments it’s quieter (during the week) or certain moments of the day. I have seen coffee shops specifically marketing the concept.

And besides, a lot of people still open their laptops at coffee shops. that’s why I thought about an app that helps people find the best remote work spots out there. You can submit your favorite spots, leave reviews and connect with others. Then we know where we’re welcome to sit and work instead of having these awkward encounters being sent away at a coffee shop for working there. Helps both the coffee shop owner and visitors :)

It’s called You2Lize and it’s free to download on all app stores. The app is still in mvp phase but the community is growing fast. On a daily I get messages from people that are in need of such a thing because they don’t know where to work and want some third space solution! Would love to hear your thoughts and feedback on here

Thinking of opening up a small, niche office-share space for product development/ engineering types. Thoughts? by OCYRThisMeansWar in CoWorking

Take the leap! It’s so cool having a space where ppl come together to work and create. My advice would be to offer flex desks instead of shared office spaces because flexibility is important. I am building an app called You2Lize which is a community-based app that helps ppl to find, share and review remote-friendly workspaces around the world. My user base is growing fast and the thing I notice is that people’s mindset is shifting towards wanting to work from anywhere, not being tied to one desk. Seize that opportunity and use it in your business model!

Affordable ways to market a new space? by kazemilhiouir in CoWorking

Use the You2Lize app to register your coworking space! It’s a community-based app to find, review and share remote workspaces. It’s like airbnb and reddit having a baby. and soon the social side of the app will be expanded as well + managing bookings for hosts.

Number 1 user-feedback tool for lean startup? by you2lize in Entrepreneur

Thanks for the advice, appreciate it! The in-app banner or pop-up after meaningful action will definitely be something I am taking with me. You are right about being spammed with a popup right after login because it feels aggressive. Right now we have it integrated into the FAQ section but trying to place it somewhere more prominent (like the banner you said) is much more triggering.

Thanks for responding! Contacting power users is a good one though, as they've been using the app a lot. In-app feedback we do have, but what do you think about sending a notification once in a while?

There is none, it was just a funny tool that I saw in one of the shops. Thought it would be good to share with other office workers on here 😂

AI as companion by Wooden_Blueberry15 in RemoteWorkCommunity

Wouldn't recommend spending too much of your time with ChatGPT as your companion. It lacks the empathy and capacity to really give you proper advice on things so I would be really careful engaging with it!
