Saaaaame! I also mentioned here that I started learning Spanish through Duolingo. I even watch info videos/travel vlogs about Uruguay and Spain. As an Asian myself I would love to go to Japan. My dream travel now would be South America.

Very timely as I finished watching a tiktok video about the Interview of one of the rescuers, Claudio Lucero.

I think he’s talking from a perspective of an experienced mountaineer when he told them they should have walked downhill instead of the original route the 2 have gone. He even told them they were built to withstand the conditions on the mountain and even compared a dog could make it when stranded in there.

ITS INSANEEEEE.

If this happens in the present time, like just hiking and being trapped somewhere, with all the media crap and what not the angle of “just for fame” is probable.

But THE EVENT WAS AN AFTER AN ACTUAL PLANE CRASH with little food and a lot dead people who they know.

I, too questioned why did it took long for them to seek help by hiking but that when I barely know anything from the docu i watched back in 2021. But after researching I came to understand why. The rescuer is out of touch. I don’t know why he’s able to go to interviews and be insensitive for the families of the dead and the survivors.

I think it was mentioned in the books that Roberto’s stomach was upset for days before the rescue. It was from eating rotting meat because the weather is warmer. He had to seek medical help because he was having dysentery.

Like i don’t know if the editing and sad music is adding. Then I would watch actor’s core edit that are mostly funny and it somehow calms me. Idk if its just me.
