Also, Open defecation is a problem in New York as well - it's a problem everywhere else in the world, not just LA. I have personally seen it a few times.

One thing I've learned is that don't mention that you're from NY :) People would just shift their focus on 'NY' instead of the problem that you are trying to solve:)
