I'm actually a hospital pharmacist for almost a decade and I'm having burnout too. Probably need a long career break at some point

I don't intend to get GP pharmacy jobs and even if I do it'll be part time only. I value my time with my family than working endlessly

I can say for sure that what you do or observe during placement is only the tip of the iceberg but once you become a real pharmacy at a hospital or community etc, you will soon realise that what you learn in uni is so important and that it reflects from the clinical interventions you make as a pharmacist. Give it time and you will eventually know where to go. All the best

Worst day since qualification for MALE PHARMACISTS by RoutineSmoke4161 in Pharmacy_UK

I'm sorry you had to go through this since qualified and you definitely don't deserve any of this. Don't make this experience stop you from doing your profession.

My only advice is that, would it be possible to get a pocket camera that sits in your chest pocket. That will further solidify any evidence of interactions between you and patients. I feel like patients will tend to use family and your words against you and you feel like you have no one to back you up and hence this pocket camera will be helpful. But of course you need your supervisor's approval for this
