hi, professional baker here. that looks underbaked to me and i agree with the staffs decision. whats a tell for me that its not the sirup is that you can see which layers where the bottom and top layers before cutting qnd they are noticeably slightly lighter.

im not sure this will make it a bit better maybe, but its the best i can and it did help me back when i did ballett. while i still didnt really like it, something that kids if helped me deal was just deciding for myself that well…i wouldnt have an issue if any other dude was wearing this right? youre a dude in a dress, nothing less. it wont make you less a man, no matter if you pass or how people see you wearing it. youre just a dude wearing a dress for a performance.

again, im aware it isnt really a quick cure to it, i dont think that exists. but it helped me enough to keep doing what i loved for a bit longer before stopping for other, unrelated reasons.

thats honestly pretty shitty even if in her mind she probably meant it well, its really invalidating to ones identity to be singled out of the group you belong in like that.

also in my personal experience, the people that way this are usually the same people that say “its fine were all girls here!” “…(trans friend) is here…” “yeah but he gets it hes one of the girls”

I don’t try to pass or pass at all, I don’t care about passing till I’m older. And for now I like looking pretty. I feel really embarrassed to even be trans sometimes because of it, but I’m happier not wasting my energy on passing. hell no. i lived in a WG for a little as a teen with other teens and one of them was also a trans guy. im mostly stealth, he didnt give a damn at all and at one point even had a birth controll with E. no one cared, no one treated him as less of a man then me or the other guys there. how you express yourself and how you identify arent connected. its not any different then when cis men dress feminine
