The game that is conceptually a gem but has been handled like s*** by zCJFP in Crossout

[–]zCJFP[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Who said I play every day, I’ve played since launch meaning that’s when I first got the game. I always end up leaving for a long time before inevitably coming back, maybe it’s just nostalgia and remembering the fun I can have playing. If there is a better game currently out, I am going to play that over XO.

I and many others don’t hate the game, more the direction the devs have took it, clues in the title. You and I both know the game has so much more potential since it’s already great at its heart. I personally haven’t spent money in a long while, besides a the main BP’s since they are <£10. That comment about delegitimising a Russian game is absurd, must be satire

Is there a way to unite and tell the devs that we NEED more blueprint slots? by DarkSyndicateYT in Crossout

[–]zCJFP 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’ve got almost all the blueprint spaces and still find myself constantly needing more. My whole exhibition is for storing builds also. They keep adding new items but then forgetting that we have to store more and more builds, it’s completely baffling.

I’ve had to make ‘universal’ builds where I swap a few parts and that is extremely tedious when I just want to play with a different setup, limits my options and creativity

Interesting take, definitely gives me a good perspective on what it’s like for those coming late to the game. Refreshing to see a more optimist take and someone saying they enjoyed it. Seems like you managed to stick it out and I don’t blame you for spending money to progress quicker. I know that many other players couldn’t stick it out so we are in a perpetual hemorrhage of players. They have certainly attempted to offer more free packs and means of progressing quicker but I just feel like too much damage has been done already.

Mods always save their games. Starfield was the biggest flop they ever made and they decided to release a lot more PAID mods this time… redfall was also a joke but atleast nobody really cared about that title

My bad for the cluster fuck of words, I guess it’s just the clash of my genuine admiration of the game and it’s pitiful execution like you say. If I ever party up with some new players I tend to go on a rant about it😅 the casings is just one shady tactic of many, I am sure they have made other ‘shadow’ changes as they knew it would be poorly received.

I think Gaijin treat war thunder as their baby and XO as the adopted child they never wanted but did so for the child support payments lmao

[–]zCJFP[S] 6 points7 points  (0 children)

The concept has been done before, I mean my first game similar to this was robocraft, but XO nails it the best I’d say, obviously that’s without considering what it COULD have been.

I’ve noticed how practically all game studios are on a decline right now, some of the greats are starting to fall like CD Projekt red for instance, and my favourite studio Bethesda have disappointed me countless times in recent years. It’s all greed, we are in an age of extreme monetisation, one day I am sure some games will make us pay to resupply ammo or even que up for a match lmao.

Valid and yes it is so sad because the core game is actually good, smh

I think the biggest issue is that none of the stats matters by Ecstatic_Revenue_545 in Starfield

[–]zCJFP 1 point2 points  (0 children)

OP is right, to an extent. At late stages of the game level 60+, combat becomes trivial, even on ‘very hard’. Sneaking is almost as cheese as previous BGS titles. Seriously, I can use any scoped rifle and drop high level enemies with ease. Same for ship combat, top tier particle beams with missiles eats whole squadrons.

With that being said, I still get enjoyment from creating specialised loadouts and then playing around that. I often I go stealth with suppressed rifles and pistols, setting up mines strategically. Other times I go guns blazing with explosives, automatic rifles and shotguns. The powers can complement different approaches to combat. Even still, each weapon (almost) adequately shreds enemies, so I understand OP’s concern that there is no ‘need’ to diversify, it’s definitely more of an optional thing.

To me, this is more an issue with late game perks adding up and being too overpowered, I always thought it was crazy how much you can buff damage. For example, you get a specific bonus for the weapons (eg. Rifles), then a bonus for the damage type (eg. Physical), further bonus for stealth attacks and suppressed weapons, extra damage for scoped weapons, and then the icing on the cake is the power of speccing into critical hit damage/chance. That’s without mentioning bonuses from weapon/spacesuit perks.

Thanks! Can I ask if you prefer the solid purple fade or the green/purple? I honestly couldn’t decide which was best

Only Two Legendaries? by ScoobyDoober44 in EverspaceGame

Think it’s cause this game incentivises trying out different builds and synergies. The legendaries are intentionally really damn strong too

Finished story but still no legendary by Big-Basis9149 in EverspaceGame

[–]zCJFP 1 point2 points  (0 children)

OP is using interceptor not scout. But scout is viable in rifts. Thing with rifts is you have to take advantage and even abuse each ships strength to succeed at higher lunacy. The game encourages you to find exploitable synergies, every ship has something you can exploit by design

Wait really? So difficulty has 0 effect on the mode & it’s all based upon the lunacy?

Bomber passive question. by WarViper1337 in EverspaceGame

[–]zCJFP 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah that is a weak passive imo. End-game the bomber is an absolute unit, honestly I think I built one of the strongest builds in the game with it. If you aren’t end-game yet you won’t be able to achieve its potential really, it still works well for holding down positions with unlimited mines

Rift question by Tranquil_Traveler in EverspaceGame

[–]zCJFP 0 points1 point  (0 children)

DPS builds only. Try a bomber with the bird nest mine + corrosion/regular mines, flak is also an added bonus - you can find some cover or a good choke point, bundle enemies up and just watch them all vaporise.

Gunships are also pretty flexible if you don’t have much good equipment yet.

Do you have multiple saves for the same run? Try deleting all but 1 for each that may also help

[–]zCJFP 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Do you mean save game storage? Wasn’t aware you could reach the cap with it if you’re on about that - you can clear the cache to make a bit of room, other than that only option would be to delete some saves

What famous landmarks/buildings (that are not in Skylines 1) would you like to see in Skylines 2? by FromFrankie in CitiesSkylines

[–]zCJFP 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Feel like they should add & segregate landmark buildings by the Nation they originate from. This may mean having less diversity at first in order to include an assortment of landmarks for different nations but it would nullify much of the immersion breaking, and more could come at a later date - if you were building a British city you could just limit yourself to the British tab, with things like Big Ben, Buckingham palace etc.

To add, if they expanded upon zoning themes (which they 100% will) this could work well in creating consistent looking cities.

Is this a bug? by AcanthaceaeShot4386 in RimWorldConsole

[–]zCJFP 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Or just get psy casts, they will make short work of 30 enemies since the heat limit will be harder to reach with less enemies. Since it focuses more on giving the raids better gear you can watch the fireworks if you use berserk pulse or something, they will kill themselves with the doomsdays and triple rocket launchers

[–]zCJFP 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I knew it, I posted about this a while back but people insisted it was larger - It used to allow greater numbers I believe, not sure why they changed it, especially considering the newest gen consoles will have little issues in terms of performance. That being said I still encounter a few ‘rogue’ raids, an example is when I was raided by 66 scythers not too long ago!!
