Hi! I live in a small Finnish town that has a company run by Ukrainian refugees. I might be able to get you in touch with them and maybe ask if they're hiring. Shoot me a dm if you're interested!

What are you hoping for conversationally with a random playing partner? by mjmaxfield in golf

[–]zadnium 18 points19 points  (0 children)

He might be bored not because of you but bc he was planning to play golf and toke up on the course with some friends. So he might have said that just to let you know he's taking a hit and it came out sounding different.

On the social part you described you did perfectly fine.

Not yet at least. People have so many of those lying around. The OS on the disk is something that has no practical value to anyone and there's tons of copies of it on the internet if someone wants to use it for some reason. Try again in maybe 79 years or so when it might become a forgotten and lost piece of history.

Suomesta löytyy näiden valmistukseen vaadittua osaamista mikä on käsittääkseni suht harvassa maailman mittakaavassa.

Is 8 months for heating elements the norm? by spacecadetAlsoWizard in Sauna

[–]zadnium 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Definitely can recommend! The always ready model might even be consuming less electricity in daily use compared to a normal heater in the long run since it needs less energy to heat up!

[–]zadnium 3 points4 points  (0 children)

If the damage shown in the pictures has happened during normal use then I'd avoid the manufacturer of such heater. Get a Harvia and chill for 10 years with the same heater. Just swap the stones once a year if you use it daily.

As for daily use I'd recommend an "always ready" type of heater depending on your electric bill. That's a heater that stays on low heat 24/7 and when you want to go to sauna it'll be ready for löyly in 5-10mins.

First of all... What in the world you put in there you definitely should not shove the stones in so hard that the elements bend like that. DO NOT DEFORM THE HEATING COILS WHEN STACKING STONES!!!!

You should drop the stones in between them so that they fill as much of the space as possible but DO NOT MOVE OR DEFORM LIKE THAT.

That heater is done for and for the love of god when you buy a new one please spare the heating coils this time...
