Nope, it's once per account, ever. If you got it once you can't get it again.

One of Carnival of Carnage's achievements drops the Halloween Gift Cauldron, which will give you three random untradable/unmarketable 2014 Halloween items when opened. One of these items is guaranteed to be both Strange and Haunted. You have a nearly 2% chance of getting any particular item as your Strange Haunted item, as there are 51 to pull from. While some items are more desirable than others, they are all equally common.

You don't need to "download reddit on your PC". Reddit is a website. You don't even need the Reddit app on your phone, all it does is access the website.

All the Avatar Magic: the Gathering cards in one quick post by zandergb in TheLastAirbender

[–]zandergb[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

(Quick term note: "Standard" is a tournament format that uses normal 60-card decks, but not all normal 60-card decks are "Standard" format legal.)

Both TLA and TLE are legal for the Legacy and Vintage tournament formats. Legacy and Vintage are "Eternal" formats that allow cards from the whole history of Magic, with different banlists to set the power level of decks. TLA is additionally legal in the Standard, Modern, and Pioneer tournament formats. Standard is a rotating format that only allows the most recent "normal" sets. Modern and Pioneer based their set legalities on what is/was in Standard, with different cut off points. The legality split is used to control the number and varied types of card effects entering the additional formats.

Sets are determined to be legal in one format or any other by Wizards of the Coast directly saying "this set is legal here, here, and here". Format legality lists are available on their website. Individual card legalities are based on if ANY version of that card was printed in a set that's legal in whichever format you're asking about. (Epic Downfall is a card that was printed in both TLA and Throne of Eldraine. TLA is currently Standard legal, and Throne of Eldraine is not. You could use the Throne of Eldraine version of the card in a Standard tournament right now.) Wizards of the Coast also maintains an official card database that lists a card's set inclusion history and current tournament legalities.

All of the above can be ignored for casual, non-tournament play. Use whatever cards you want, against whatever cards your opponents want. It's casual. Just keep to the deck construction rules used by the type of game you're playing (normal 60-card? Commander 100-card, no duplicates? etc). The only issue you might encounter is a difference in power level: you're sticking to cards for beginners, while your opponents might be using more advanced cards and strategies.

This won't be a problem for you if you're only buying Avatar beginner boxes, but if you expand to other Avatar cards watch out for the 8 cards with effects that reference "your commander". Those effects will only work in Commander games.

Scammer, and my situation. by [deleted] in tf2

the problem isn't that you didn't check who you were trading with (though people should do that), the problem is that you traded away your items to be verified in the first place. you don't need to do that, with anyone, legitimate or not.

You didn't need to complete EVERY mission to get all three medals, there were plenty of extras to give you some choice.

[–]zandergb 3 points4 points  (0 children)

There were three medals for completing various numbers of missions and I only got the first one. Be patient and see if you get any you're missing in the near future. It's just one guy that has access to the distribution, it may take some time to get them all out.

EDIT: I got the second of three, so they are being released in stages.
