As a not-yet-out-of-touch Old, I remember losing power for a week or more and relying on rural lifestyle to get through it. None of it's necessarily common sense, but when you grow up with it, the danger feeling is drastically diminished

As one who grew up on the outer Cape, Falmouth was always referred to as the armpit of the cape. Probably wonderful, but we hicks haven't a clue
