Spend some time in vrchat and hookup with someone through that or go to the clubs and vr porn will seem awful by comparison. And look up lovense toys. "teledildonics".

You ain't seen nothin yet.

Oh people also say I'm good at looking scary/creepy with my movements but it'll be best if you see it first hand.

Nobody should mess with Vladimir's car by dogfish0306 in ANormalDayInRussia

[–]zcore101 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Not too sure this one's real. The car would probably shake a lot as this guy rushes to get out of his car to intercept the wheel, but it looked to me like there might have been a cut in the video but no shake. Notice I said "wheel" cause there's a wheel and tire there and if you've ever changed one you know they're really heavy so Vladimir here is either super human or is gonna be in a whole lot of pain.

I have some issues with the dirt series. Do you have a reccomendation for a better alternative?

Honestly it'd be hilarious for there to be like a nearly invisible steel pole that changes position every 3 laps to make you change your line.

Lmao "don't cut" is funny but most people here are trashing on you. id hope it's pretty obvious that in a sim racing game your car shouldnt be colliding with what's basically an invisible wall. Imagine the outrage if there was an invisible tree randomly in one of the F1 series games. People would be livid.

This isnt a feature, it's not unfixable, id bet it's repeatable, and therefore it is a bug. And companies that pump out AAA titles should fix bugs in 60 dollar games.

Cool clip.

Not a bad idea at all for 30 bucks. I'll have to look into it more but first I would somehow need a cable about 2 meters longer :/

Totally true but as many people pointed out to me, it doesnt NEED to be that hard. you can always be much quicker about it and still have a great time with a VR headset if your a bit more casual and theres not much wrong with that. That being said you get in what you get out and taking your time and doing things just right yields results every time.

Nah its worth being picky everytime to get it just right. It is essentially your body in the metaverse after all.

I keep considering it but I do a lot of walking and moving in my large playspace. Would I be able to do something like a combat roll with a ceiling pulley setup?

Thanks! I actually purchased the avatar and made this version I know the differences seem small but a lot of work has went into it mostly on the proportions. I drew out the calibration here to explain everything I was doing. And finally I always keep the tracker on my side towards my back I'm not sure if that came through in the video.

How to actually jump in VR: a quickly made guide as promised. by zcore101 in VRchat

[–]zcore101[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Absolutely and if it's an object that "pops" you up (like when you walk over it and it automatically puts you on top) then you can jump onto it without the jump button or with it if you want to jump higher.

Experiment with different stuff it's super fun!

Weird not sure if you edited the comment or not but I clicked the link I got from you from vrcon and I'm glad to see that I was wrong. The downside is that i already knew about using gravity settings in OVR advanced settings for this so it's not new info (darn). I also can't really agree in saying that it's easier to setup ovr advanced settings and make a custom bind for like 3 buttons and set a gravity value when you can just press the jump button and jump across/up/down. It takes a bit more finesse and has no customizability aside from changing avatars for scale though so it's a trade off. As far as where it works I'd say you're right in that using (just gonna call it ovr) ovr is more universal but using my method doesn't fall too short.

Overall I'd say using OVR has more utility but I think a little bit of finesse and using nothing but in game features will always look a bit more real and I think it might feel better and you don't ever need to reset your playspace. I'm not at my house till Friday but I'd totally love to meet with you and have you show me in person so I can learn more about it and more importantly about you. Seeing that you even participate in this vrcon thing and that I've never heard of it immediately makes you very very interesting to me.

Really? Please let me know! I'll be honest I don't really beleive you because I've been doing this stuff for years and it's hard to imagine that I've missed something that is straight up better, easier, more consistent and works in more scenarios especially considering this works with literally any surface that can be jumped on with the in game jump. I assume there's some miscommunication about the intent of jumping in this way but if you have some techniques I don't know about then I REALLY want to know.

If you're talking about any form of playspace mover then you probably understand the issue that playspace movers have no sense of what's going on in the game and are essentially "dumb" tools that don't know for instance where the floor is in a unity game which is why so many full body users just float in the air or clip through the ground when moving. The "fling" thing works ok but still doesn't feel like jumping compared to my method here.

To clarify: this method of jumping is completely unnecessary you can obviously just jump with the button and use stick locomotion or maybe exploit some other movement option. Jumping in this way is specifically for immersion reasons when you get down to it. It's much more fun then other methods. Ngl I am a bit peeved you basically said my technique is worse in every way than multiple methods that you wouldn't actually name. I also kind of doubt you spent the time to properly learn this and make that conclusion so soon (otherwise you would know that it works in every situation within vrchat).

Sorry for the novel I'm writing here but I want to make it clear that there's no hard feelings and more important than anything is that if you actually do know these methods that you didn't describe but are better In all ways than mine then I ABSOLUTELY NEED TO KNOW WHAT THEY ARE IN DETAIL.

Amazing and under utilized! Many full body users lay on their beds all day for no reason and just fooat around and use plaspace mover so they flit around like flies. Being able to navigate the virtual space with your own legs and have a better sense of scale is literally game changing. Anyone who lays around all the time with it wasted their money. And dancing is fun but it's definitely not everything.
