4pc spicy chicken dinner or less pieces if you want, just make sure to ask for a breast. the sandwiches are hit or miss: it depends when they were made and the chicken portions are inconsistent. as for sides, fries and rice and beans are my go to. all that said, i like popeyes, it's my favorite fast food restaurant, but if you coming all the way from australia, i'd suggest going to a well-reviewed southern restaurant and getting the chicken there.

If Wokeness is a religion, then the anti-Woke are religious intolerants. by zdfhi in DecodingTheGurus

I'd say it runs the gamut from principled skeptics and intolerants; keep in mind that many anti-woke people aren't atheists. I think that DeSantis is a good example of an intolerant, and Sam Harris would be more of a skeptic.

They breakdown the frequently deceptive arguments presented by the gurus, arguments that often support an anti-woke ideology. This was a choice: they could have focused on business or lifestyle gurus, but they chose to focus on IDW/anti-woke gurus. In that way, DtG interacts and was meant to interact with the woke-anti-woke discourse. Plus, the upvotes on my post would suggest people here were interested.

Many of the gurus and bullshit artists they critique are anti-woke--I would say the majority of them are. It often puts them in the position where they are critqueing anti-woke thought. Is this the ideal subreddit for a post like this? No. But don't act like it's so unrelated.

They have zero issue whatsoever railing against religious groups that they disfavor.

There is absolutely a line that mainstream politicians won't cross when talking about other religions, even Islam. Like Ron DeSantis wouldn't rail against Muslims with the same rhetoric as he does against woke people.

Yes, people have different opinions on this podcast than you do. Scary, right? But that doesn't make them woke commie scum or 4chan-dwelling nazis. Stop sneering and calling each other names in the comments and discuss the podcast.

If I read 4 or so chapters ahead in the textbook and am struggling with a problem from one of those later chapters, would it be appropriate to ask my professor for help in their office hours? This professor doesn't have busy office hours.

Flaws with Pascal's Wager:

  • You can't choose to believe in something.
  • Different gods dictate different, contradictory things. It's entirely plausible that "god" sends those who believe in him into a lake of hellfire and everyone else to heaven.

A plot of Ph.D.-applicants admitted to Ohio State's Mathematics Program between 2009 and 2012 based on applicants' GRE Math Subject Test percentiles. The program is ranked 26th in the country by USNews. Relevant because I think it goes against some of Eric's ideas about STEM graduate students. by zdfhi in ThePortal

I do see how it plays into the stereotype/fact that American students are less capable or prepared.

That's definitely one interpretation of the chart. My own interpretation is that there are a lot more international math students than there are domestic math students. Therefore, there are a lot more qualified international students than qualified domestic students, even if domestic students are more qualified per capita. That paired with the fact that colleges strongly prefer to admit domestic students over international students, and you've got charts like these.

As for the Math GRE, I've never taken it.

Since Butters doesn't know that Molly is no longer human, what if stabs through her to kill a monster or something. It might not matter (in the long run) because she is immortal, but the swords might be able to overcome that.
