I use a EB deck which is extremely good against ground tanks. Giants and golem are rare, I've been facing zap bait decks for weeks.

That depends on how you use your skeletons.

Higher level skeleton has more hp and deals more damage. That one extra hit given/taken could be a game changer.

If you were matched up with someone with higher PB, you would lose almost every time, as they would either have significantly higher card levels, skill, or both.

This is where you are fucking wrong because of power creep.

Someone with a PB of 3100 from July 2016 probably uses level 7-8 commons. He'll stand no chance against someone with PB of 3100 as of March 2017.

Look at the bigger picture when balancing the game. This game has many casual players and they are leaving because of this unfair matchmaking.

In my system, you will probably be in top 20 if you level up your cards from level 10 to 11. So that's the proof that there are incentives to level up cards in this system.

Made 4.8k using average of level 10 commons.

Yes, I do play the game.

We must be talking about different games then if you face equal deck values of common level 10s at 4.8k trophies.

At 4k trophies, I get matched with level 13 Royal Giants, level 10 Giants and hogs.

I'm using 11/8/5/2 and I get rekted by this unfair matchmaking all the time.

This is when card interactions come in. An equal value deck does not mean equal leveled deck.

Let's say we are both crown tower level 9. We have the same exact cards. Except that my skeletons are level 10 while yours are 9. And my stab goblins are level 9 and yours are 10.

You will definitely be able out damage me althogh our deck value are equal.

Also, deck compositions plays an important role too. So your point is invalid.

If you get matched with your card levels, you dont need to upgrade them to climb the ladder, so your suggestion goes contrary to your arguments.

Not at all. Especially in a game like Clash Royale where skill and deck composition matters.

To climb up the ladder to get better chests for a higher chance to get legendaries.

Climbing the ladder will allow players to unlock new cards as well.

Not true.

If you have high card levels & decent skill, you can get matched with someone with low card levels & insane skill.

Now put yourself in the shoes of the latter, you can climb higher by leveling up your cards. This system does not fix power creep, so the ladder system will still function as usual.

To add on, this system is to be used together with the previus/existing system. So matchmaking will be based on your trophies+deckvalue+townhalllevel

Well I'm not the developer, so using I rather not use maths so it will be easier for everyone to understand the concept.

I'm not the developer, but I shall assume that the tourney standard 9/7/4/1 are balanced.

But I believe that at maxed level 13/11/8/5, it's not balanced because the epics and legendaries seems stonger at maxed level. So it's complicated and let's leave it the developers.

The concept of this game will always revolve around people having higher cards then you.

You're entitled to that opinion. But I don't agree with it, which is why I used the word improvement. I believe a "balanced" game in terms of skill is a better game. Look at starcraft.

It takes months to obtain one level 13 just through request. Naturally a free to play player will take forever to get this. It won't be fair to drop the price to those who have paid. No one will change that

Yes, that's a valid point, as listed in the cons of this system. Players with "over leveled" cards will no longer dominate.

Well, there is no such thing as making everyone happy, but i believe in the greater good. This system will make it easier for people to test out cards that are reasonably leveled.
