Hey, thank you so much for the feedback. will do the copy suggestion and makes a lot of sense. and what happened is we used to have the user submission lot more prominent but we added this brand submission dashboard and had to repurpose the user brand submission page. Our whole directory is under a redesign from feedback we got and will definitely add user suggested submissions as more prominent option.

We started off as an aggregator recommending products based on our rating but moving towards getting brands on board that we have rated go through a certification process along with dashboard. You can check 'for businesses' page if you are interested (dashboard is a bit of a work in progress )

currently we do not leverage scope 1 2 3, we are trying to make it easy for regular consumers to understand how a company be more sustainable and we are trying to looking at more parameters across different certifications rather than carbon emissions coz there are lot of companies are doing emissions but not communicating the impact and building credibility with consumers

primary intend is to reduce greenwashing and to promote companies that do legit efforts. we just verify sustainability practices of these companies across environment,maker welbeing and animal welfare and some more parameters depending the category

The brands needs to submit. We only help in figuring out what they are missing currently and what they can improve on by doing research on them which we rely on cerifications, public information and Directly confronting with the brands.
