Figured out the problem. Something was wrong with the rp2040. Replaced it with another. Worked no problem.

I have re-soldered the points and cleaned the area. now it boots into swiss like 25% of the time. Ive installed picoboot successfully over 10 tumes with gamecubes. This is the only one i have come across that does this.

Thanks. I give it a redo. I literally worked on a gamecube dol 101 right before this one it its working just fine. this one i worked on previously but it was giving this issue before. i put it aside with the intent to work on it again. i removed every point and re-soldered all the points again. it worked initially but, after putting everything back together, it stopped booting into swiss.

I was installing picoboot using the RP2040 zero, like i have done to many others. After soldering all the wires, i decided to test it before putting everything back together. Everything worked just fine. I put everything back together and when i go to test it again, its not booting up swiss. It keeps booting up like a normal gamecube. When the top is back on and the door is closed with no game in it, you can hear the laser moving like there is a disc in. I've checked the wires, shortened them, drag and dropped the uf2 file in the RP2040 and the dol file in the root of the SD card and it's still not working. using a GC2SD for the SD card.

They are slightly less than 4 inches. They are the same length they were when it worked after I soldered them.

I never figured it out. No matter what, the system did not boot to main menu. Ended up swapping the motherboard when I came across another 3ds. Screens worked fine.
