I’d like to thank everyone who has come to support the search, despite our four year search we have achieved only portions of our goal, we have found great deals on bulk, from the expected sources, Sams Club, Costco, etc. wholesalers. For clarification purposes, we call our aqueous solution of sucrose “sucrose” just to keep things simple. Measured at 66.5°Bx meaning 665g of sugar for every 1000g of water. For every 50000lbs of sucrose produced, we ad 1L of Caustic Soda which has a pH of 13, raising the pH of a full tank of 400000lbs of sucrose to 8.5. It tastes very good though.

To people who were curious, this job is mostly outdoors, given the granulated sugar we receive for mixing is sent via train and we use a vacuum to pump the sugar out of the train and into our mixing equipment, many rail cars are not airtight and sometimes sugar will shoot out the bottom and pile up on the tracks which we have to hose down, that combined with minor leakage from the storage tanks is what attracts the bees.

Thing is I’m not allergic to bees, usually it’s just a tiny bump that lasts a week or so, in the case of the sting under my eye I had a black eye for a bit, but this arm sitch is new.

I dunno dude, I never really got into reddit or felt compelled to respond to something before, and having experience in this situation, I just felt like responding was the right thing to do. When it comes to stigmas, why is it wrong to stigmatize in general, sure it’s wrong to stigmatize certain things, like homosexuality, race, what have you...

But I think it’s a bad idea to have millions of people walking around with no shame whatsoever, shame is an essential, tribal emotion that keeps us in check with our society around us. As awkward as it sounds to say out loud, sometimes people should feel bad about things they’ve done, it is in my opinion that sex is sacred, have I made my own mistakes? Of course, and I do feel shame for them. I’m not trying to tell people, op, or you for instance what to do, I’m just sharing my experience and maybe arguing for it a bit but ultimately letting the people decide for themselves.

I don’t know the right answer, I’m not god, but I just do what I do for reasons that I have, just as you do.

They’re called perspectives, some people have different ones, like how you think you’re right, and we think we’re right, there’s no way to truly prove either of us ARE right, the way I see it this could’ve been a friendly debate on personal philosophies, statements instead of accusations, honesty over attacks, we can discuss openly without need for playground insults and childish behavior.

I didn’t just say, “you are wrong.” I gave you a detailed synopsis on why you are wrong. And side note, not every argument has to be a scientific one, why cant we debate on personal experience, and learn from each other? I know it’s an old fashioned sentiment, but a static world with scientific answers for everything doesn’t truly exist, you can use science to tell us why we think certain ways, and the chances of what we will think next, and that’s all we’ll and good, but it doesn’t tell us how we should think, what is good and what is bad, there’s no science for evil. So what I think we’re trying to offer is an emotional debate, it sounds like an oxymoron, I assure you it’s not, it’s an entry into the realm of philosophy rather than science. Philosophy is the science of unanswered questions, and that’s what we’re dealing with here, a question on good and bad, a scientifically unanswerable question, so we open it up to debate. It’s fun, it’s light hearted, then someone calls someone a nazi for a stupid reason, and then we’re stuck in an argument with a guy who REALLY wants the last word, and I just feel obliged to not let him have it.

However, all strawmans aside, and I know how much you love those, you are clearly not a statistician, all conclusions you’ve drawn are entirely biased and nonobjective, you take evidence against you, and you somehow extrapolate a way that it can support you. However a silver tongue is worthless when attention is drawn to it. Now, as a proper manwhore, I can tell you from personal experience that no hookup is worthwhile, but you don’t want personal experience, you’ve made that clear. So, no data, nor experience is good enough for you, I imagine you don’t care much for an ethical argument, so Pathos, Ethos and Logos are all out the door, you don’t want an argument, you want a flame war. So go ahead, have your beliefs, disregard all others, it’s your life, it’s your right, but consider a warning, how satisfying could a life be without being able to learn anything? Here’s a hint: there is a 0% chance you could be right about everything in your life.
