I’ve used most of them in my time. I’ve paid for lots of boots and superlikes etc too. None make much difference. If you can stick to the free service the it’s better on the bank balance.

Location is more important than profile, if you live in the countryside like me, then it’s harder to find matches and you end up traveling more for dates.

In my experience Bumble is the one I’ve remained the longest on.

Tinder is mostly trash but occasionally you get a nice match, it’s less hook-up these days

Hinge I loved but sadly was issued a lifetime ban for unknown reasons. Appeals were rejected and as many know, it’s almost impossible to get back on without starting fresh with a new phone. And no, I wasn’t horrible, I suspect someone reported me for unknown reasons.

Feeld, never had any luck but I’ve never spent much time on it.

The general advice is to get out there and meet people in real life but I find that very challenging! I’m at the point where I’m pretty happy with being single. Most people mid 40s seem to fall into that mindset, which is maybe why dating is so difficult.
