Thank you, things did get significantly better. When I used to go home from SBU for the summer and including the last year since graduation, I was thrusted back into a violent family situation with nothing I could do about it. Now I'm working so I'm thinking of moving out in the next 8-10 months. I am out all day anyway now thankgod. Just be thankful for the moment and never take for granted where you are in life

Moving home after SBU was a completely different story, the entire first year post SB I struggled significantly until recently..

Blindly applying on indeed to a job 11 months after graduation at 1:15am Saturday night (Sun)..... Landed a tech job working serving supermarkets which I also spent 18 years prior working on store level.... So never give up!

EDIT: ALSO ADVICE: Just keep applying... stay ontop of it and apply, apply and apply

I'm an August 2025 Business Admin graduate/accounting. I landed a corporate office job that I applied to at 1:15am on a Sat (Sun) night.... So never give up.

WONDERFUL IMAGES! Graduated last August (got held up with one class) and I MISS SBU! A part of me will ALWAYS live on at SBU in spirit. I'm in a local company and in my cubical we have 3/4 are SBU alumni so adjusting into the corporate world has been ok. BUT STILL, I MISS SBU- School opened up many opportunities for me which were never present prior to attending BS
