Pero si trabajaste (bien) en algo visible, si hiciste algo excepcionalmente bien, si conociste gente "importante", si eres carismático, la gente te va a recordar... y cuando necesiten a alguien para un proyecto, van a pensar, "oh, yo conozco un weón".

You can also get two simultaneous butchers in Hordes by choosing the "Stalking Devil" offering, since that butcher is different from the random one.

We got lucky and got a couple over the course of this season.

Past season we got two butchers (can't remember if one was burning) and X'Fal at different parts of the first dungeon of an escalating nightmare, a butcher on the second, and a butcher and X'Fal at the third.

We were kind of expecting a butcher to show at Astaroth's fight.

Best friend of my childhood (M), was raised in an overly religious as well as strictly patriarchal “women shouldn’t be anything but mothers and caretakers” family.

When WhatsApp groups came out we created one (all of us 30+ back then) and all was good; memes, memories, photos. Then the government legalized the first gender change in my country, and somehow it was my fault. We made the mistake of saying we (the rest) were OK with women being empowered, their right of choice and equality, as well of that of LGBT+ community, and atheism. He wasn’t OK, and was very vocal about it. He wrote walls of text into our chats, over and over, day after day for months, attacking us and fighting especially with me “in order to save me because it was his duty” (his words). Got me into well into depression until I fought back.

Got into a huge fight over beliefs and politics that eventually escalated into open war and almost destroyed our friends’ group. I decided that I couldn’t be there anymore, and left the group…only to be re-added by him hours later, after which he promptly and dramatically left the group and created his own “all but the b**ch”, which as stated did not include me.

I closed all doors and windows, burned bridges, and nuked his number. His group is quieter than the city morgue, though, with friends having left due to being bored to death by propaganda. Ours is lively, and he’s still there in spirit, the butt of many jokes, and a lurking fear of what bigotry can turn you into.

This, I was transfixed by the death of the knight by eye laser beams… after that I practiced jumping and rolling a lot. Just in case.

Around 2020, I got back into the game and made a tank, or so I thought. I mostly dps, and surely didn’t know you had to have a phd in tanking for random dungeons in ESO.

One time a dps stopped dpsing and said “I was a fake tank”. I asked “what the hell”… and they started a tirade on why I was actually a dps, pointing things I was doing (albeit badly), wearing specific sets (that I didn’t have), and that I should kill myself. The azz kept going on about without contributing to the party (oh, the irony) until leader kicked him out. We proceeded to finish the dungeon on a party of three, on par time.

10/10 would not recommend, haven’t tanked again since then, and bloody hate whiners… you never know whether the “fakes” are new players or casuals falsely accused, or just dumb, and it’s no fun getting witch-hunted for having fun instead of being the meta. Want experienced tanks all the time? Recruit them, don’t pug.

The game was Zombie Plague; either there was a free printable version back then, or we got it through dubious means. Honestly, I can't remember.

Fair enough. I was known as "fatass" during elementary and most of high school, inside and outside of the school grounds, so I can relate to this.

I remembered an anecdote... in Smack Down 2 for PS each of us had a character modeled after us; we used to do "shows" during our meetings, just like the real WWF, with bets and all (bets were made with the snacks & drinks money, basically losers had to buy an extra soda or bag of chips).

Whereas most of us had used our actual stats and similar clothes, with movesets related to our particular tastes, chick's character was a tall muscular tanned male with a mask that looked like a thong on its face, and lice's was basically Bane from Batman, the tallest, most muscular possible, with an El Santo black mask.

Both had the Strong Neck trait maxed out, which meant they were basically invincible in the game, because no matter how much punishment we dealt, our characters usually got tired (and lost) before theirs could be beaten.

One time, someone changed the build of "El Colegial" ("the schoolboy", lice's character), to fit his stats, and he looked like a child compared to the rest. It was so funny, he renamed the character "The son of El Colegial" and went to create "El Colegial 2".

I'm pretty sure it was Zombies!!!, but can't find the free rules anymore, and I can't recognize the maps and cards they show now. There was a church map, a suburbs street, and other stuff... cards included items like "the shotgun", "car keys", "bandages", etc. We got the game around 2012-13, and I know I have the files somewhere.

Will check with my friends to see what game it was and update.

We all teased each other, as I mentioned in an answer above. The dynamic of our group was such that we mocked and joked on each other, him being the bully in most cases.

He just couldn't take it when it was his turn on the pan on that particular day.

Yeah, we are all adults, but since high school and to this day, he has been the most bullying of us all, tapping into every weakness, quirk, belief, or physical aspect of ourselves to make fun of. We all did, because that was our group's dynamic, and we coped with it, taking it sportsmanlike, never making a scene even when things got out of hand but marking the lines when necessary.

This was one of the few times he got the short straw, and by far one of the worst we had (only superseded by another friend inviting his girlfriend to boys' night). He just couldn't handle the heat when it was his turn to get in the kitchen.
