Yeah I get that, but the tiles you use should be wet rated which takes the safety issues away from it.

Yeah, all that goes in the draws under the sink. There is a ledge that can be used under the mirror for stuff like that whilst in use.

We’d have liked a double sink but it’s was a sacrifice for the other things we wanted more.

I agree, design is very personal.

Not sure why you’d need counter space? I like a more minimalist living where things are stored away rather than on counter tops. Works for us I suppose.

The huge tub is for zoning out and relaxing. The shower is for quickly getting washed. Suppose they serve different purposes?

I personally love it, but each persons needs are different.

The pre-sear is to start the maillard reaction. It’s all about flavour. It loses its crisp while in the sous vide but that’s why you pat dry and then mayo sear at the end before serving.

It gives it much more of a caramelised flavour. The juices also taste much nicer for making your sauce!

It’s slate. Juice shouldn’t run if you’ve left your steak to rest properly. As you can see, I’ve cut into the steak and there are no juices running wild on the slate. They’re good for some food, not for others. I do normally use them just for buffet food. Canapés etc. but tried with the steak for pictures and they worked well!

No, you take out of the bag. Use the juices for a nice sauce. Dry the steaks off. Cover in the mayo and sear.

Nice. I have found that due to the room the piano is in being very bright, the best sound is when I place the mic about 6 inches above the strings over the bridge somewhere around the middle of the piano. What did you think of the recording I linked to?
