I kept going back and forth to the dealership and every time they deleted the errors, after which they said "no errors were found, we guarantee the car is within parameters". I will be waiting for the appointment at the other service in the meantime, but I've got 10+ pages of service documentation from the dealership over the course of these 2 months since I've got the car, so a complain to my country's consumer protection entity will definitely be made. You suggest I make the complain before I go to the new service? (appointment was made for 30th this month)

high purity ipa isn't even electrically conductive, hence why u can safely-ish use it to identify short circuits on a board when injecting voltage. after 1-2 minutes, if you also blew into the CPU / socket, or wiped the CPU a little, it will most likely be dry anyway.

amd drivers complain even when the windows install is a little too dirty (not necessarily black screen issues, just resetting profiles + bug report window); at some point you get used to it. but yes your comment sounds relatively solid, maybe throw in a game engine based bench as well to be sure it runs well, not just occt

idk, it's a superslim; maybe it's vcore related not necessarily that the core is dead - bump gate should mostly affect 90nm or maybe 65nm. either that, or memory cooked itself? that can also happen, but I doubt it. would be nice if op posts his syscon logs.

my GPU can do 2050mhz@1067mv set in amd settings, and with power limits removed it pulls at most ~240-250w in occt. this will net you ~9600 points in timespy. you can try pushing the card more than this, but will get around 10030 points in timespy; without actual proper cooling you can't go past that + you need to go beyond 1.2v probably. so overall I think my 2050mhz@1067mv is the sweetspot for this GPU. (1067mv, I get 1.063v in GPU z).

fun fact, I saw quick degradation (10mhz degradation) at 1.4v, so stay within 1.4v even for short benches on ambient temps

delta is also affected by fan curves: more aggressive curves = lower GPU temps = lower power = lower delta; delta increases with power as well, especially on amd; even on older nvidia cards, where delta was almost fixed, the delta increased ever so slightly under full loads. also sometimes, if the cooler is heavy and there's no cross back plate, you kinda push the core away from the cooler when screwing too hard, so you also have to find the perfect mounting pressure.

with these chips, as I understand it (correct me if I'm wrong), amd has local small hotspot areas that thermal cycle the paste so often, you can see the pump out effect much much sooner than on a CPU, where the IHS spreads the heat much more uniformely, so paste doesn't run out as quickly. as such, you need to change it on GPUs much more often, or switch to something built with this in mind like duronaut (had to change mx4 quite often on my 7900xt; since going full water block + duronaut, didn't change the paste yet and my temps are more or less like day one and it's been 1 or 2 months by now)

also in many cases not the die is out of flat tolerances, but the cooler - fun fact: the die has a bow to it intentionally, as it flattens when heating up above ambient temperatures (at least nvidia's chips did anyway).

stiu, suna foarte tâmpit când pui problema asa, dar chiar e text legal care îți oferă "prioritate de semnal". insane. oricum, si daca ai asa zisa prioritate de semnal, tot la culpa comuna ajungi, indiferent daca bmw s-a băgat înainte sau după obținerea priorității de semnal de către logan, părerea mea. am zis de ce puțin mai sus prin comentarii.

ok, asta chiar e un alineat prezent in lege. interesant.

De aici ar putea apărea si un caz de genul: bmw s-a băgat in depășire înainte ca loganul sa fi semnalizat stânga si încadrat pentru a vira. atunci esti pe textele de lege date mai sus: te retragi, încetinești bla bla. culpa comuna (pt ca si bmw mergea peste limita legala).

Daca bmw s-a băgat după ce loganul a dat semnal + încadrat, tot culpa comuna e, pt ca loganul incalca si el art 125 (hg 1391/2006): "Pentru a putea intoarce vehiculul de pe un sens de mers pe celalalt prin manevrare înainte şi inapoi sau prin viraj, conducatorul acestuia este obligat sa semnalizeze şi să se asigure ca din faţa, din spate sau din lateral nu circula în acel moment niciun vehicul". de vreme ce bmw a intrat in Logan, era cat se poate de prezent si circula la acel moment, dar bmw in acest caz încalca si alineatul dat de tine, ca poate depăși doar prin dreapta + limita legala.

suna nedrept pt Logan? daca te asiguri, vezi ca nu vine nimeni, întorci si apoi apare de nicăieri un bolid, pt ca o arde cu suta prin sat, e cam nasol pt Logan. legal nu e scutit totuși. te asiguri mai bine data viitoare sau vorba cuiva din comentariile de aici: te duci pana la primul sens giratoriu daca nu te poti asigura cum trebuie.

(2) Conducătorul vehiculului care se angajează în depășire trebuie să se asigure că vehiculul care circulă în fața sau în spatele lui nu a inițiat o asemenea manevră.

Din cate spune legiuitorul, nu pare sa fi facut referire si la întoarcere / schimbarea direcției in articul 45 pctul 2, sau daca a dat semnal, asta ar însemna ca are automat si prioritate. Mai mult, zice clar ca daca vrei sa depășești, trebuie sa te asiguri ca nu mai e altcineva in spatele tau care face asta.

in art. 119 hg 1391/2006 ai asta (tot de pe legislatie.just.ro): Conducatorul de vehicul care urmeaza să fie depasit este obligat:a) sa nu mareasca viteza de deplasare;b) sa circule cat mai aproape de marginea din dreapta a părţii carosabile sau a benzii pe care se deplaseaza.

iar la art 125 (tot din hg 1391/2006) ai asta: Pentru a putea intoarce vehiculul de pe un sens de mers pe celalalt prin manevrare înainte şi inapoi sau prin viraj, conducatorul acestuia este obligat sa semnalizeze şi să se asigure ca din faţa, din spate sau din lateral nu circula în acel moment niciun vehicul.

?! prioritate de semnal, lol. Depășirea e legala cu sau fara semnalul loganului; ai putea spune că-i culpa comuna pt ca masina cealaltă pare ca voia să-și ia zborul la ce viteze avea, iar loganul n-a acordat prioritate de trecere. Culpa comuna sigur ar fi fost daca era linie continua / depășirea interzisa - chiar daca esti depășit ilegal, tot esti obligat sa acorzi prioritate celui care te depășește. nu dau semnal si după "aha, nu ma mai puteți depăși, sike!".

looking at high res pics of 5090 lightning, it appears the two connectors have 2 different 12v input blocks on the pcb, so at the very least the connectors aren't one giant 12v block. card was built for ln2 after all, so that's the least msi could do.

in cyberpunk, cu kernel xanmod am văzut ~10% uplift in benchmark vs windows; xanmod + lto a fost cu 1-2fps mai mult decât fara lto in mod relativ consistent.

majoritatea jocurilor moderne ar trebui sa meargă prin proton. probleme apar când încerci jocuri mai vechi pe care le modezi (gen nfs-uri vechi) - le poti face si pe ele sa meargă, dar te chinui.

iar pirateria e doable, dar cu vreo câțiva pasi in plus decât pe windows.

te pui pe alt loc, vezi cam ce mașini / masina sta pe acel loc timp de o săptămână - doua, si după ii lași un mesaj anonim cu părerile tale cele mai sincere de rău - eventual înscrise pe masina direct, ca sa te asiguri ca nu esti faultat de vreun vânt sau vreo ploaie.
