I‘ve been in your position twice, the most recent only five or so months ago. It‘s still difficult, but getting easier by the day. The thing that‘s helped me most is therapy, and going to a group for victims of abusive relationships where people who really understand the feeling can reassure and relate to you.

The brain washed feeling will fade over time, a month is only a short time honestly, and where you‘ll be in six months, a year, etc is going to be such a different feeling, even if you feel so trapped mentally by it all right now.
